Description

If a security gap appears, it can quickly be closed and protected with an update.  However, not every online shop has the ability to immediately update its own system to a new version. Often, other processes or systems are connected to the shop, which requires a specific plan for an update. With this plugin, we offer a solution to quickly and easily secure your online shop despite these limitations. The Security plugin for Shopware 6 includes security-related fixes that can be applied to your Shopware environment through a straightforward plugin update. This way, you can protect yourself against security vulnerabilities. Please note that with this plugin, we primarily address security gaps in older versions. Minor updates should still be performed as soon as possible. Whenever possible, you should also upgrade to the current major version.  

Please make sure to always update this plugin to the latest version.

Dazu braucht es dieses Plug-In

Danke für dieses Plugin. Grundsätzlich halten wir den Shop up-to-date, aber leider geht das nicht immer, weil manche Plug-Ins zwingend für den Betrieb notwendig sind aber nicht ganz so schnell geupdatet werden. Ein anderer Kommentar hier bezeichnet die Entwickler dieser als faul, vergisst dabei allerdings, dass manche einige Dutzend Plug-Ins entwickelt haben, die alle geupdatet bzw. geprüft werden müssen, das dauert seine Zeit, dazu das tägliche Geschäft, und leider auch, wie in SW5 geschehen, ein Konkurs eines Entwicklers. Bis wir da eine Alternative hatten, vergingen einige Wochen, in der wir sonst mit bekannten Sicherheitslücken online gewesen wäre. Danke für dieses Plug-In.

Warum braucht es dazu ein Plug-In

Warum muss man ein Plug-In installieren, um Shopware sicher zu machen? Nur damit ein paar faule Entwickler weiterhin Shopbetreiber abzocken können, ohne ihre Plugins weiterzuentwickeln. Warum entfernt man nicht einfach alle Plugins aus dem Store, die nach einer gewissen Karenzzeit nicht für auf der neuesten Version funktionieren???

Achtung bei hosteurope cPanel Shopware Installationen

Warnung: macht bitte unbedingt ein Backup vor der Installation dieses Plugins. Bei mir hat es bei auf hosteurope meinen per cPanel installierten Shop direkt geschossen. Mehrmals erfolglos probiert. Frontend und Backend nicht mehr erreichbar, frische Installation, nur dieses Plugin installiert. Stand 21.11.2021, Shop Version 6.4.6.0
