Inriver – PIM Integration for Shopware
Connect your Shopware store with Inriver PIM and keep product data, categories and media consistent across your sales channels.
The integration uses the Inriver REST API and the Shopware Admin API. Depending on your system landscape, it runs as a direct connection or via Shopware Nexus as the central integration layer.
Products and variants from Inriver
You enrich product information centrally in Inriver and transfer it to Shopware automatically. Products, variants, descriptions and attributes are created and updated in the Shopware catalog.
Changes can be transferred as delta updates or as a full catalog, regularly or on demand, depending on your configuration. This reduces manual maintenance effort and keeps product content consistent in your Shopware store.
Channels, categories and product relations
Inriver channels and their category structures define the navigation in your Shopware store. Each Inriver channel can be mapped to a Shopware sales channel, depending on your configuration.
Product relations such as accessories or related products can also be transferred to Shopware. The scope is defined per project.
Images and resources
Images and other resources managed in Inriver are transferred to Shopware and assigned to the matching products and variants. Your store uses approved assets from one central source.
Multilingual and multi-channel commerce
Translations and channel-specific content from Inriver can be mapped to Shopware languages and sales channels. This supports international stores as well as separate B2B and B2C storefronts based on one product data source.
Flexible integration architecture
The field mapping is configurable and supports Shopware standard fields and custom fields; the scope is defined per project. If required for the integration, Shopware Nexus handles mapping, validation and monitoring as the central integration layer. The open architecture reduces dependency on a single vendor.
