Quickbuy Quick Order Form App | Buy Many Items from One Order List
Description
Highlights
About the Extension
Your trade customer reorders the same eight items every month. They know the product numbers by heart. Still, they click through search, product page and cart eight times before they can pay.
The problem
Online stores are built for browsing: category, filters, product page, cart. Customers who already know what they need get nothing out of that. Every line costs them several page loads, and for longer orders they would rather pick up the phone or send a list by email. Someone on your team then keys it in by hand.
The solution
The Quickbuy app adds two blocks to your Shopping Experiences. In the "Quickbuy" block your customer searches for items by name or product number, adds them to an order list with one click and picks a quantity. The "Quickbuy Product Listing" block turns a category into a ready-made order list where customers only enter quantities. Either way, the "Add all to shopping cart" button puts the whole list into the cart in one go.
What's in it for you
Fewer clicks for customers who know what they want. Search, click, choose a quantity, next item. The page stays the same until the entire order sits in the cart.
Fixed ranges as an order list. Consumables, refills, spare parts: put the items into one category and your customers see them one below the other with price and quantity selection. No searching required.
Fewer orders to type up. Customers who can order quickly on their own call less often. How much less depends on your customers. It works best with regulars who place the same orders again and again.
Prices and rules as usual. Quickbuy uses your store's regular cart. Prices, rules and stock checks apply exactly as they do for any other purchase.
Only where it makes sense. You switch Quickbuy on per sales channel. Your trade store gets it, your consumer store does not.
No server, no upkeep. The app needs neither its own server nor file access. You install it straight from the Administration and place the blocks in the layout editor.
How the app works
After installation, open Extensions, My extensions, Apps tab, click "Configure" for the app and switch on "Activate plugin for this channel" for each sales channel you want. The toggle is off after installation.
Then drag one of the two blocks from the "Commerce" block category into a Shopping Experiences layout and assign the layout to a category. The "Quickbuy" block fits into any layout, for example a dedicated "Quickbuy" page in your main navigation. The "Quickbuy Product Listing" block belongs in a layout of the type Listing page and shows exactly the products of that category.
In the storefront, the "Quickbuy" block shows the search field "Enter article...". From three characters on, suggestions appear from your store's regular search. One click adds the item as a row with image, name, product number and price, and for variants the selected option. Quantities run from 1 to 99, and the X removes a row again.
In the product listing every quantity selection starts at 0 and goes up to 99. Everything with a quantity above 0 gets ordered. After a click on "Add all to shopping cart", the cart opens on the right and shows how many products were added.
Typical use cases
Wholesale for tradespeople. An electrical contractor orders cable ties, terminals and junction boxes by product number, straight from last month's delivery note. Ten lines, one page.
Office and consumable supplies. You build a "Reorder" category with paper, toner and labels. The company buyer only enters quantities and checks out, paying in GBP like any other order in your store.
Trade store next to a consumer store. Quickbuy is switched on in the B2B sales channel and stays off in the B2C channel. Both use the same layouts, and the order list only appears where you allow it.
Technical facts for your IT team
- Shopware app for Shopware 6.7, with no app server of its own and no PHP code. It consists of storefront templates, styles, scripts and two Shopping Experiences blocks.
- One setting: "Activate plugin for this channel", stored per sales channel in the app configuration, off by default.
- No tables of its own, no custom fields, no changes to Shopware tables. The app stores no data.
- The app does not send any data to external servers. Search uses the storefront search suggestions, and adding to the cart uses Shopware's regular cart route.
- GDPR: the app processes no personal data and sets no cookies.
- Storefront texts in German and English.
- Uninstall from the Administration. Remove the blocks from your layouts first.
To be honest
The app is the lean edition of Quickbuy. It has no CSV upload, no cart export and no reordering from the order history. The product listing only shows products of the assigned category, and each row is capped at 99 units. If your customers know their items and want to order fast, that is all they need. Try it during the trial period with a dedicated "Quickbuy" category.
