Improvements
- AI agents: the machine-readable checkout state (contract version 1.1) now indicates on the registration page that the available payment and shipping methods may still change after the address is entered, and reports in the order review whether that happened. agents.md and the capability manifest have been extended accordingly
- Improved presentation of the plugin settings
Bug fixes
- One-page checkout: payment and shipping methods with customer- or address-based availability rules (e.g. "invoice only when billing and shipping address match") could remain permanently hidden for new customers, because such rules cannot be satisfied before the address is entered and the selection in the order review was collapsed. If the available options change after entering the address, the affected selection in the order review now expands automatically and a notice points it out
- Cart page: for product sets ("swkweb ProductSet" plugin), the quantity buttons overlapped the product image and the unit-price columns were missing — the set row now shows the regular quantity stepper with prices again. The compact set display in the order summary and the off-canvas cart remains unchanged
- Checkout Insights: right after starting the trial, the counter occasionally showed "31 days" instead of 30
New features
- Free-shipping hint: six new colour fields (background, border and text, separately for "threshold not yet reached" and "threshold reached"). This lets you match the hint exactly to the success messages of your own theme instead of relying on an automatic derivation. Leave the fields empty to keep the previous look
Improvements
- Reworked the captcha integration in the one-page checkout: the captcha area now sits directly above the continue button instead of between the address fields
- Registration with date of birth: day, month and year move closer together, making them read as one coherent field instead of three separate ones
Bug fixes
- One-page checkout, registration: the "Delivery address" heading did not pick up the theme's heading font and size and could therefore appear smaller and in a different typeface than "Shipping method", "Payment method" and "Review & submit". It is now output as a proper heading and follows the theme reliably in every case
- Order review, warranty tile: in Firefox, only a thin sliver appeared instead of the warranty label ("EU Harmonised Notice & Label" plugin). The label is now shown at full size again
New features
- Order review: the comment card (Shopware's order comment field) now appears in the same tile design as the other order-review boxes — with frame, heading style, icon and the same heading variants (spacious/compact/divider); the input field ends flush with the card's inner padding. New option "Order comment in the review-tile design": turn it off for a clean look without a frame, e.g. if only the four review tiles should appear as highlighted boxes
Improvements
- Mobile summary ("Overview & voucher"): for sets and bundles (e.g. from product configurators), the individual components now appear as well — indented below their main position, with quantity, name and price. Previously only the main position with the total price was visible there
- Off-canvas cart: for items with a reference price (e.g. "(£19.99 / 1 l)"), that price dictated the width of the right-hand column — even though it only holds the remove button — and the total sat left-aligned above it. The price block now takes its width independently, the product name keeps its room, and total and reference price line up cleanly on the right
Bug fixes
- One-page checkout, registration: in shops with a custom theme structure, the "Delivery address" heading could be the only one to appear without the accent colour while all other section headings were coloured correctly — it now follows reliably in every theme structure
- Order review: if custom shop CSS forces a global heading size, the tile headings and the heading of the warranty tile ("EU Harmonised Notice & Label" plugin) could appear in different sizes — all order-review titles are now fixed to the same size
- Order review, warranty tile: inner spacing and the gap below the heading aligned with the other tiles — on narrow screens the heading previously sat indented and the text ran closer to it than on the other tiles
Highlights
Checkout Insights — measure what your checkout really does (in-app purchase, from Shopware 6.7). The new analytics area makes visible what happens between cart and order. Unlock it directly in the admin or try it free for 30 days first. What's inside:
- "Currently in checkout" & checkout funnel: See live who is currently in your shop and checkout — optionally as a tile right on the admin start page, and optionally with the summed cart value of active checkouts. The funnel marks the biggest drop-off point and pairs it with concrete, actionable tips; conversion, orders, average cart value and abandonment rate always come with a comparison to the previous period
- Segments & AI agents: Breakdown by device (desktop/mobile/tablet), customer type (guests, new and returning customers) and active dwell time per step — including a plain-language comparison, e.g. how much worse mobile converts than desktop. And because this checkout is built for AI agents, a dedicated tile makes automated traffic visible: AI and browser agents as well as crawlers are counted separately and never flow into funnel or conversion
- Early warning: Flags any metric that deviates from its normal value for the same weekday — with expandable details per metric
- Your data stays in your shop: Measurement is pseudonymous and server-side, evaluation is aggregated only — no external analytics service, no data sharing, your data never leaves your server
Improvements
- Exit popup: if a voucher code is stored, the main button now redeems it with a single click — instead of six steps (copy, close, find the voucher field, paste, apply, continue). On the cart page it leads straight to the checkout; on the registration page the form is preserved and any details already entered are restored automatically after redeeming. The "Copy code" button remains as an alternative
- Plugin configuration thoroughly reworked: cards are structured into labelled sub-groups, field labels are unified and the help texts are considerably improved from a merchant's perspective; enabled features are highlighted with a subtle tint, short text fields sit side by side to save space and the help tooltips are lighter, wider and much easier to read
- Mobile order summary: on narrow screens the expandable summary now also shows — like the desktop view — the total net amount and the included VAT per tax rate
- Payment and shipping method logos: consistently exactly one frame per logo — logos without their own border keep the subtle outline, while logo sets that ship pre-framed (e.g. PayPal and Klarna marks) run without an additional ring; the previous double frame is gone
- One-page checkout: the optional Shopware captcha now sits at the end of the form directly above the order button instead of between shipping address and shipping method; the mandatory reCAPTCHA notice appears as a subtle footnote at the bottom of the form
- Product set and parts list configurator (swkweb): set components in the order summary and off-canvas cart now appear compact — name and price on one line, the selected variant in small print below. A set with several accessory components takes up considerably less height
Bug fixes
- Payment method "Credit or debit card" (PayPal): in the compact payment method display, the expiration date and security code fields could wrap and appear misaligned — both fields now sit neatly side by side
- Checkout cart on Shopware 6.6: the item and voucher rows in the order summary (right column and order review) fell back to the default Shopware layout — quantity and price on a separate row, the remove button top right. On Shopware 6.6 they now appear in the same compact layout as on 6.7 (quantity as a badge on the product image)
- Checkout headings: the section headings (e.g. "Delivery address") now reliably keep their accent colour even when the theme or custom shop CSS forces a global heading colour — previously individual headings could appear grey and out of line
- Free-shipping notice: the border of the "unlocked" message (off-canvas and cart) now uses the theme's success colour instead of appearing in a deviating pale green — it blends cleanly into themes that give success messages a bolder border
- Express area: with no express payment methods available (e.g. PayPal not installed), the "Log in" button stretched across the full width — it now appears compact and centred; on mobile it stays full width
- Interplay with our "EU Harmonised Notice & Label (GARAN)" plugin: display improvements in the order review — the warranty tile now blends seamlessly into the other tiles
Notes
- Changed text snippets: the default texts of the exit popup have been reworked — they no longer promise a discount that does not exist without a stored voucher code ("Your basket is still waiting for you" instead of "10% off … for a limited time"). The sample voucher code "BLEIB10" has also been removed as a preset: only a code you have stored yourself is shown. The exit popup itself remains disabled by default and has to be enabled deliberately. Customised texts remain unchanged; if you use the default texts, you will automatically see the new wording
New features
- Cross-selling: new option "Cross-selling: variant preselection" — for variant products the cheapest variant is preselected by default, so a single click adds it and the displayed price is exactly what the customer gets. Alternatively the first variant by product number, or no preselection at all ("from {cheapest}", the customer picks deliberately)
- Shipping notification: the granted consent can now additionally be written into a freely selectable order custom field — so a connected ERP or shipping provider (e.g. Pickware DHL) can read the consent straight from its own order field; the customer then only ticks a single checkbox. New option "Also mirror consent into this order field (ERP/carrier)"
Improvements
- Cross-selling: variants already in the cart are no longer offered for adding. If every variant of an item is in the cart, the item disappears from the recommendations entirely; if only one variant remains, it can be added directly instead of via the selection
- Cross-selling: the variant selection is now visible right away instead of only after a click, the price updates when the variant is changed, and clicking the image or product name follows the configured "Product preview on click" option
- Accessibility: the variant selection in cross-selling now has a name for screen readers
- Trust elements: the four default example texts have been reworked — instead of shipping twice, now four distinct trust dimensions (secure payment, buyer protection, free shipping, free returns) with matching icons and more concise descriptions; the default also no longer states a fixed free-shipping threshold
- Cart timer: the notice now appears calmer — the coloured stripe on the left edge is gone, the subtle tint remains. In the "Neutral" style the grey border is dropped as well
- Checkout review (single-page view): the four review headings (shipping address, billing address, shipping method, payment method) now appear in the same style as the headings on the registration page — normal case in the accent colour instead of grey capitals, so registration and review read as one continuous flow
- Registration (single-page view): the "Shipping address" and "Billing address" headings now carry the same accent colour as the other section headings and stand out clearly as section titles
- Free-shipping bar: once the threshold is reached, the notice ("Congratulations, free shipping") now appears in a subtle success look derived from the theme's success colours — consistent in the checkout and in the off-canvas cart, and legible on any theme (previously it could show as a solid green bar on some themes and swallow the progress indicator)
- Off-canvas cart with fixed footer: when there are more items than fit into the visible area, a subtle "more items" hint now appears — just like in the checkout — as long as the list has not been scrolled all the way down
- Minimal footer: when the row of legal links wraps, the selected separator (| or ·) no longer sits alone at the end of a line — it is hidden automatically at the wrap
- Minimal footer: the footer notice can now contain placeholders — %year% (current year), %domain% (visited domain) and %shopName% (sales channel name); this lets you set, for example, a "© %year% %shopName%" line that fits each sales channel automatically
- Checkout review: if the legal-guarantee label plugin is active, the guarantee notice now appears as a tile in the same style as the other review boxes — the label stays visible, just more compact
- Checkout review: the terms and cancellation checkboxes now sit — like the consent checkboxes — centered on the first line of their text; with multi-line text the checkbox previously slipped to the middle of the whole block
Bug fixes
- Checkout cart on Shopware 6.6: the item and voucher rows in the order summary (right column and order review) fell back to the default Shopware layout — quantity and price on a separate row, the remove button top right, and the row not aligned with the other elements. On Shopware 6.6 they now appear in the same compact layout as on 6.7 (quantity as a badge on the product image)
- Mobile view: the cross-selling block "You might also like" was inset further left and right than the order button and the trust elements below it. All blocks are now flush — regardless of the theme
- Mobile view, registration: the phone number, email confirmation and password confirmation still sat side by side at half width on narrow screens and became very cramped — they now fill the full width and stack (postcode and city stay side by side as before)
- Checkout review on desktop: the "Review & order" block (terms and order button) protruded slightly beyond the tiles above it on the left and right (shipping address, billing address, shipping method, payment method) — it now lines up flush with them
Notes
- Changed text snippets: this update reworks the shipped default example texts of the trust elements. Texts you customised via the globe icon remain untouched. If you previously used the default texts, you will automatically see the new wording after the update — please briefly check in the checkout whether the new phrasing still applies to your shop (e.g. only show "free shipping" and "free returns" if they are actually offered)
- Changed text snippets: the heading of the first registration section (single-page view) now defaults to "Contact" (previously "Contact & addresses"). Texts you customised via the globe icon are kept; if you used the default, you will automatically see the new wording after the update
New features
- Minimal footer: an optional custom notice can now be shown below the legal links — pre-filled with the standard tax/shipping line (incl. VAT, plus shipping costs) and freely editable. New options "Footer notice" and "Footer notice: text"
- Minimal footer: the separator between the legal links is now selectable — Standard (spacing only), Pipe (|) or Dot (·). New option "Link separator"
- Registration: the privacy notice can now optionally link the terms and cancellation policy too (configurable via the text snippets) — the default remains the privacy notice only
Improvements
- Express checkout: the "Log in" button and the PayPal buttons are now exactly the same height and top-aligned, the PayPal labels sit vertically centred, and there is a little more space above the "or as a guest" separator
- Express checkout, login view: the "Log in" and "Create account" buttons are now the same height as the express login button next to them; the "Or" separator is no longer bold
- Express checkout: the PayPal button area now reserves its space up front, so when the PayPal buttons load in asynchronously the content below shifts less
- Login in the checkout: when a validation message appears (e.g. an empty required field), the "Log in" button no longer shifts downwards
- Registration: the section headings (Contact & addresses, Shipping address, Billing address, Shipping method, Payment method, Review & order) are now consistent in font size and spacing — the "Billing address" heading without a separate divider line, and all blocks with even spacing
- Express/login area: short texts such as "Already registered?" and the "Or" separator now appear exactly as entered in the text snippet — no more forced uppercase
- Registration: with the open selection display (buttons instead of a dropdown), the options now sit more compactly and fit reliably on one line instead of wrapping
- Newsletter and consent checkboxes: the checkbox now sits exactly centered on the first line of its label (previously one or two pixels too low)
- Free-shipping bar in the off-canvas cart: appearance aligned with the other notice boxes (border, corner radius, subtle background)
- Plugin configuration: tidied up — "Review tiles: heading style" now sits in the "Pages" tab, and a few long labels no longer wrap in the admin
- Exit-intent popup: on opening, a focus outline appeared immediately on the close cross (×) even though the popup was triggered by mouse — the highlight now only appears with genuine keyboard navigation
Improvements
- Minimal footer in full width: the legal links are now centred and have more spacing to the columns above (in half width they stay left-aligned as before)
- Availability lines now also align cleanly with the other detail lines in the off-canvas cart — one step more compact in font size there
Bug fixes
- Legal links with the "New browser tab" setting now open the complete page in the shop layout instead of an unformatted content view. On Shopware 6.6 (which lacks the required page route) the links keep opening in a modal
New features
- Legal links in the checkout (terms, cancellation policy, privacy, imprint) can now open either in a modal (default) or in a new browser tab — new option "Open legal links as". Applies everywhere the checkout renders legal links: the checkbox-less notice text, terms/revocation texts and the minimal footer
Improvements
- Order review: the four tiles (shipping address, billing address, shipping method, payment method) now separate heading and content with more spacing by default ("Airy"). The style is now selectable: "Airy", "Separated" (spacing + fine divider line) or "Compact" (the previous tight look) — option "Review tiles: heading style"
- Line-item list in the checkout: availability lines added by themes (e.g. "In stock") now align cleanly with the other detail lines — same font size, status dot vertically centred on the line, multi-line texts wrap under themselves. The green availability dot gently pulses every few seconds (respects "reduced motion")
- Account block: with the "Custom colours" style, the subtext is no longer dimmed but shown at full opacity
Bug fixes
- Account block: headline, subtext and benefits can now be hidden reliably — enter a minus sign (-) into the respective text field. Clearing the field silently restored the default text, because Shopware resets emptied snippets to their original value; the help texts in the configuration now explain this
- Sign-in view: when switching to the login form, the section heading "Contact & addresses" stayed visible below the login card — it is now hidden as well
- Free-shipping bar: the bar now also appears when the free-shipping threshold is tied to a shipping rule (for example a €0 tier for a specific country or zone). Until now it stayed hidden in this common setup even though the checkout did grant free shipping. The bar now follows exactly the price matrix the checkout charges.
- Free-shipping bar: progress is now measured against the same cart value the shipping calculation uses — with free-shipping items or discounts in the cart it no longer shows "reached" too early. A free-shipping band with an upper limit no longer advertises an open threshold.
- Trusted Shops: the closing Trusted Shops script on the order-completion page (review invitation, buyer protection) loads again when Advanced Checkout is active. Previously our order-completion layout skipped the standard extension point where Trusted Shops – and other extensions – attach their order data.
- Klarna Payments: with Advanced Checkout active, the order button now stays visible when a Klarna payment method is selected. Previously our checkout layout skipped the standard extension point where Klarna injects its payment widget and the related form fields — which made the button disappear and the order impossible to complete. The Klarna payment form also integrates seamlessly into the checkout design: it appears in the same card style as the other sections, directly above the order area instead of below the order button. Verified with "Klarna Payments for Shopware" 4.0.11 — the Klarna extension 4.x itself requires Shopware 6.7.
New features
- AI discovery: the plugin extends Shopware's new "Agentic files" (Shopware 6.7.12+) — llms.txt and agents.md describe the machine-readable checkout to AI agents, plus a dedicated capability manifest under /.well-known/. Enabled by the merchant in the sales channel's "Agentic files" tab; the plugin contribution can be switched off in the "AI agents" tab; no effect and no errors on older Shopware versions- Changelog right in the extension menu: the extension's three-dot menu now opens the "What's new?" view with the version history
- Quick access in the settings: "Advanced Checkout" now appears under Settings → Extensions and opens the plugin configuration directly
- Account block: new "Custom colours" style — background, text and border colour freely selectable
- Free-shipping bar: progress and success text editable right in the plugin configuration
- More texts editable right in the plugin configuration: social-proof message, low-stock hint, cutoff countdown, trust headline, express/login titles, cross-selling headline and the newsletter checkbox text (e.g. to adjust the tone of voice)
Improvements
- Account block: headline and subtext can now be hidden by emptying the field, just like the benefits
- Accessibility: the cross-selling "add" button and image link are now properly named for screen readers and keyboard use
- Plugin configuration: fields that only belong to a specific selection (e.g. the "custom colours" fields) are now also greyed out automatically based on select fields
Bug fixes
- With the "Accent" style, the "Log in" button now follows the "Continue" button exactly — including themes that style the primary button differently from the theme brand colour
Important note on updating to version 2.0.0!
Version 2.0.0 is a major feature update with numerous new capabilities — including One Page Checkout, a multilingual checkout, a delivery map on the order confirmation, a success animation, trust and urgency elements, and a completely reworked configuration.
The update is purely additive and contains no breaking changes: updating from 1.1.x is seamless and requires no manual adjustments.
Even so, given its scope, please make sure to install the update in a test or staging system first and create a full backup (database and files) beforehand, before applying it to your live shop. This ensures everything works as intended together with your theme and any other extensions.
Highlights
- One Page Checkout: registration and order confirmation feel like one continuous page (four sections, mobile Shopify pattern) — purely presentational and therefore compatible with all payment extensions. Entries survive reloads and browser-back (tab-bound, no sensitive fields), and the compact confirmation step shows completed sections with a check, fitting on desktop without scrolling including the order button. On by default from 2.0 (can be switched off in the configuration — then a classic step-by-step checkout)
- Success animation on the thank-you page: confetti or an animated checkmark right at the moment of purchase — the emotional closing moment (respects "reduced motion")
- Delivery map on the order-completed page: OpenStreetMap map of the delivery address as a final address check, four map styles incl. a custom tile provider — loads only after cookie consent
- Update notice & changelog in the admin: notification when a newer version is available (once per version, dismissible) plus a "What's new?" view with the full version history right in the plugin settings
- Multilingual checkout: all storefront texts fully available in German, English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Polish and Danish — plus dedicated language sets for Austria and Switzerland ("ss" instead of "ß"). Any additional language can be added in minutes: searching "tcinn" in the snippets module lists every plugin text
- Free-shipping progress bar: threshold read automatically from the shipping method's price matrix — optionally in the checkout sidebar, cart page and off-canvas cart; without a configured threshold no bar is shown on purpose (never a misleading display)
- Social-proof popup: "X people are viewing this" — real anonymous live count or a generated number, with timing presets, selectable position and a legal note (unfair-competition law)
- Urgency elements: dispatch cutoff countdown, low-stock hint (real stock data only) and exit-intent popup with a copyable voucher code (once per session, never during payment)
- Product preview in the order summary: theme-independent mini popup with image gallery, variant and price — loads instantly (alternatively quickview or product link)
- Consent checkboxes in the checkout: shipping notification (carrier-neutral), marketing and a custom checkbox (optionally mandatory) — stored on the order including consent proof with time and wording (Art. 7 GDPR), readable by your ERP
- Checkbox-less order confirmation (optional): compact notice text instead of the terms checkbox with terms/revocation/privacy linked automatically; the mandatory revocation checkbox for digital goods is kept
- Registration without a mandatory data-protection checkbox (default, can be disabled): a slim notice with a link instead of an additional required checkbox — without touching Shopware's global setting
- Completely reworked admin configuration: tab navigation, automatic greying-out of dependent fields and detailed help texts on all 80+ options
More new features
- Accent colour for checkout headings and action links (empty = theme brand colour)
- "Log in" button style configurable: accent, secondary, outlined or fully custom colours
- Order summary optionally compact or detailed — the detailed view shows unit price, quantity and subtotal per item, consistent across all checkout steps
- Salutation and account type as visible selection buttons instead of dropdowns (on by default, works without JavaScript)
- Order comment above the order button so customers see it before submitting (on by default)
- Cross-selling order "Random (per visit)" — stays stable during the checkout
- Extension points for third-party plugins: stable hook-in spots incl. per cart line item, documented for developers
- Notice slot above the registration form for custom content (B2B notes, USPs — HTML allowed)
- Customer-account block: all texts editable right in the configuration plus new style options (plain, box, dividers)
- Newsletter opt-in placeable: registration, order confirmation or both — also reaching returning, logged-in customers; never pre-ticked, never blocks the order
- Optimised address-field layout: lone fields span the full width, no half-empty form rows (on by default)
- Cart timer available in three styles: coloured box (default), subtle grey box or text only
Improvements
- Address order consistent in both directions: the option is now called "Ask for delivery address first" — on (default) asks for the delivery address first, off for the billing address first (e.g. for B2B). Both modes use the same advanced checkout including One Page Checkout, the confirmation page follows the chosen order, and addresses are stored correctly either way
- Order confirmation visually reworked: address and method cards unified and equal width, clear labels with icons, "Change" as a quiet text link
- Order button active again after browser-back from external payment pages
- Checkout messages in clear colour worlds with a coloured icon panel (e.g. coupon notices)
- Checkout performance with full carts improved (batched cross-selling and variant queries)
- Double-order protection now in all checkout modes (button locks after click)
- Express block: PayPal and Pay Later stacked natively, fill colour follows the PayPal setting
- Form memory hardened for data protection (sessionStorage instead of localStorage, max. 1 hour)
- Live-viewer count protected against script abuse (rate limit per IP, hard cap)
- Login view for returning customers redesigned with clear focus (prominent login button, clear path to registration)
- Mobile spacing in the checkout header tightened
- Required-fields legend aligned flush, deviating billing address shown as a box
- PHP 9 readiness: internal data hand-off moved to Shopware page extensions
- Registration address alignment secured: aborts visibly on failure instead of continuing silently
- Snippet and description texts rendered sanitised (protection against injected HTML)
- Cart timer restarts with the full duration after a completed order
- Payment/shipping switch refreshes the order totals immediately and reliably
- Bugfix: with the address swap switched off, the confirmation page labelled the addresses the wrong way round and the different shipping address could not be reached during registration
- Bugfix: plugin styles leaked onto shop elements while the plugin was deactivated
- Bugfix: a dimensionless SVG logo could disappear in the mobile checkout header
- Bugfix: server error caused by trust elements and a raw snippet key on Shopware 6.6
- Bugfix: dropdown chevron overlapped "month" in the date-of-birth field (tablet)
- Compatibility: swkweb product-set line items rendered consistently in the order summary
- Compatibility: wishlist buttons from third-party templates no longer break the checkout
- Compatibility: ThemeWare spacing below the main column neutralised in One Page Checkout
- Compatibility: unified date format applies only inside the checkout — other plugins keep their delivery-date additions
- Compatibility: runs unchanged from Shopware 6.6.0 (and 6.7) — version-specific checkout features degrade gracefully on older cores instead of raising an error
Notes
- Updating from 1.1.x requires no adjustments — all changes are purely additive, no breaking changes
- Data-protection notice (registration) and checkbox-less order confirmation: we provide the mechanism and researched default texts — usage decision and legal responsibility remain with the merchant
- An existing "newsletter on" setting is migrated automatically to "Registration page only"
- The 1.1.8 option "Require active payment selection" is gone: a valid payment method is now always pre-selected and an order without a payment method is impossible — existing settings need no adjustment
- One Page Checkout requires "payment/shipping on the registration page" and enables the option automatically
- The plugin configuration in the admin is available in German and English
- Changing the address via the overlay in the order summary requires Shopware 6.6.10 or newer; on Shopware 6.6.0–6.6.9 the "Change" link opens address management instead — all other checkout features are identical
Improvements
- Multilingual storefront texts: the checkout is now also available in Spanish and French (previously German and English only). The plugin's snippets are shown fully translated in Spanish- and French-language sales channels instead of falling back to English.
New features
- New option "Require active payment selection" (plugin settings, off by default): when enabled, no payment method is pre-selected on the confirmation step — the customer must actively choose one before placing the order. A hint is shown and the order button stays blocked until a method is selected. With the option disabled, the familiar behaviour (Shopware pre-selects a default payment method) is unchanged.
- New option "Promote customer account on the register page" (off by default): turns the plain "create account" checkbox into a benefit-driven prompt with a headline, short text and up to three benefit bullets to encourage voluntary account creation. All texts are editable via Snippets.
Improvements
- Confirmation step: a valid payment method is now always kept visibly pre-selected, even if the default payment method should be unavailable.
- Registration page: the email address and password fields are now shown side by side (instead of full width with a wrap), including any confirmation fields.
New features
- Cross-selling preview in the cart: for variant products it now shows "from {cheapest variant}" instead of the (often misleading) parent product price — matching the product listing.
New features
- When payment and shipping methods are shown on the registration page (option "payment/shipping on the registration page"), they now respect the configured availability rules — just like the order summary page. Previously all active methods were shown there, including ones restricted by a rule (e.g. country, customer group, minimum order value).
Bug fixes
- Sales channels with a URL path prefix (e.g. "shop.com/en"): the "Change" button for the shipping/billing address on the order summary page no longer opened the address dialog but reported an error ("Sales Channel Not Found"). The dialog now opens reliably in this setup as well.
Improvements
- Required checkboxes in the checkout (privacy/terms, cancellation) are now highlighted consistently and clearly when missing — a red border, outline and a short shake effect make it immediately obvious what is required, on desktop and mobile.
Bug fixes
- Minor correction to the mobile flow on the registration page so the transition to the order summary works reliably.
Bug fixes – payment and shipping method display
- Credit card fields injected by payment apps (e.g. PayPal "Credit or debit card" / ACDC) now reliably wrap onto their own full-width line. Previously they could be squeezed to zero width inside the payment method row and pushed sideways out of the layout.
- Payment and shipping method rows sit symmetrically in the accordion again: a generic form-spacing rule previously added an extra gap below the radio and description, making the content look pushed up.
- Payment and shipping method logos render at a uniform height and flush right. Narrow logos (e.g. the Apple/Google Pay icons provided by PayPal) no longer "float" small and centered in an over-wide box.
- Shipping method logos are no longer shown twice (e.g. "DHL DHL" on the default theme) – the logo now comes solely from the core.
- The redundant "accepted payment methods" strip below the payment list has been removed, since every method already shows its logo in its own row.
Bug fixes:
- Hidden content injected by payment apps (e.g. the "remember payment method" checkbox of Shopware Payments) no longer becomes visible in the payment method list — on systems whose CSS utilities are compiled without !important (Shopware Cloud), the accordion styles overruled the hiding of the injected blocks
- Visible additional content from payment apps (e.g. credit card fields) now wraps to full width below the payment method's name and description instead of breaking the single-line layout
- A checked checkbox injected by a payment app no longer incorrectly activates a payment method's selected state
- The basic captcha ("security code") is now integrated into the checkout form design: full width, framed captcha image and aligned refresh button
Important change: address swap
- The address layout of the registration page is now coupled to the "Swap billing/shipping addresses" option: with the swap disabled, the page uses Shopware's native address layout (main form = billing address). Previously, addresses were stored swapped when the option was disabled.
- The swap is now enabled by default and applies exclusively to registrations from the checkout — account-page and Store API registrations are untouched.
New features
Shopware 6.6 compatibility
- The plugin now supports Shopware 6.6 and 6.7 (tested on 6.6.0.0, 6.6.10.18, 6.7.0.0, 6.7.6.1 and 6.7.8.2)
- Terms and revocation texts automatically use the core snippets matching the version
- Checkout header/footer suppression works on both major versions
Agent-ready checkout (agentic commerce)
- Machine-readable checkout state as JSON on every checkout step (cart, totals, payment and shipping methods, required actions)
- schema.org order data (JSON-LD Order) on the order confirmation page
- AI agent detection via user-agent patterns, Web Bot Auth headers and browser automation — extendable without a plugin update
- The cart timer is hidden from detected AI agents and automated browsers (configurable, new "AI agents" configuration card)
Improvements
- Correct autocomplete attributes: address fields now signal the shipping/billing semantics that are actually displayed
- ARIA-linked payment and shipping method descriptions, billing accordion with aria-controls
- Live region for the order total; the cart timer announces its expiry to screen readers
- Field-associated, machine-readable error message on the terms checkbox following the Shopware validation standard
Bugfixes
- Terms and revocation error messages now appear correctly below the checkbox row — previously the message squeezed the label and the text wrapped across multiple lines
- The "Continue" button on the registration page now works on mobile viewports (below 768px it lost its form association due to the layout reordering)
- The "different billing address" choice now survives server validation errors (e.g. email already taken) — previously the selection silently reset to "identical"
- When the PayPal/Amazon SDK is blocked (ad blocker, consent manager), the regular order button stays visible instead of an empty container
- Checkout configure calls now respect sales channel domains with path prefixes (e.g. shop.com/en)
- Admin toggles set to "off" are no longer overridden by template fallbacks (Twig default trap on boolean options)
- First plugin release for Shopware 6.7
