About the Extension
Most invoice extensions stop once the email is sent. This one keeps going until you are paid.
Get paid: multi-level payment reminders
Unpaid orders are chased automatically. Configure up to three escalation levels - a friendly nudge, a formal notice, a final notice - each with its own delay and its own editable email. Reminders are counted from the invoice date plus your payment term, with an optional grace period for bank transfer delays. Every reminder can include a Pay now link that takes the customer straight to payment, and the invoice as an attachment.
Reminders stop the moment an order is paid. The payment status is checked again immediately before every send, and each level is sent at most once per order. Shopware's own "Reminded" payment status is set automatically, so your team sees dunning progress right in the order list.
See what it earned you
A dedicated dashboard shows reminders sent, orders reminded, recovery rate, the amount still outstanding, and - the number that matters - **the revenue you recovered**. Filter by the last 30 days, 90 days, 12 months or all time.
Automatic invoice delivery
Send the invoice the moment an order reaches a payment, delivery or order status you choose. The invoice is attached automatically and generated for you if it does not exist yet. Add the delivery note, CC/BCC recipients, a copy to your shop address, and restrict sending by customer group or payment method. Duplicate emails are prevented per order, and a manual "Send invoice" button lets you resend at any time.
ZUGFeRD e-invoices, handled properly
Shopware creates ZUGFeRD e-invoices natively. This extension detects them and sends the right document: prefer the PDF with embedded ZUGFeRD, the ZUGFeRD XML, or the standard invoice, with automatic fallback when the preferred type does not exist. XML e-invoices are attached with the correct file type.
Full control per order
Send a reminder on demand, or exclude a single order from dunning - useful for a disputed invoice - without switching the feature off for everyone. Exclusions are stored as an order field, so they are visible and filterable in the admin.
Customer account downloads
Let customers fetch their own documents. Choose which document types are downloadable and whether they get PDF, HTML or both, per sales channel. Downloads work even for documents created in the admin but never emailed.
Works out of the box
Sending happens immediately by default - no message-queue worker required. Shops that run a worker can switch to background sending. A send window keeps reminders inside business hours, and a lookback limit stops a backlog of old orders being emailed the day you switch it on.
Built for Shopware 6.7. Administration, mail templates and storefront available in English and German.

1. Install and activate the extension, then clear the cache.
2. Go to Extensions -> My extensions -> Invoice Mailer -> Configure.
3. Select the sales channel at the top (or "All Sales Channels"). All settings are per sales channel.
4. Invoice email: enable "automatic invoice email" and pick the trigger statuses under Payment / Delivery / Order status. Choose which invoice document to send (prefer e-invoice, embedded ZUGFeRD, ZUGFeRD XML, or standard).
5. Payment reminders: enable reminders, set the payment term in days, then the delay for level 1, 2 and 3 (0 = level off). Restrict to invoice and prepayment methods so card and PayPal orders are not chased while payment is still being captured.
6. Set the send window (e.g. 08:00 to 18:00) and the lookback period. Before switching reminders on in a live shop, check how many unpaid orders fall inside the lookback window.
7. Customer account download: enable downloads and choose document types and file format.
8. Save. Edit the email texts under Settings -> Email templates ("Invoice PDF Mail", "Payment Reminder 1/2/3").
Useful to know:
- Empty restriction fields apply to all customer groups / payment methods.
- The manual "Send invoice" and "Send reminder" buttons on the order detail send regardless of the trigger settings.
- Run `bin/console vimirlab:invoice-pdf:reminder-explain ` to see, check by check, why an order would or would not receive a reminder. It sends nothing.
