About the Extension

Address Validation – Correct addresses for efficient order processing
The Address Validation plugin extends Shopware's standard checkout with powerful validation logic for address data. This allows incorrect or incomplete entries to be detected early on and communicated to the customer directly as they fill out the forms. The aim is to reduce shipping errors, avoid queries and make the ordering process more efficient for everyone involved.


Field length validation ensures that information is entered correctly and within defined limits. At the same time, the plugin checks telephone numbers and postcodes and immediately displays clear messages in the event of invalid entries without interrupting the checkout process.


A particular highlight is the recognition of company names in the first name or surname field: as soon as a company name is entered in the person field, the system indicates the appropriate account type, company.


Shop operators benefit from a significant improvement in data quality, fewer manual corrections and a professional customer experience. Correct address data leads to fewer returns, reduced support costs and a smooth shipping process.
