Important: For the configuration, you need access to both systems. In Shopware 6, you must be logged in as an administrator. We recommend opening Shopware 6 in one browser window and Xentral in another browser window in parallel.

Install the App in Xentral

This step is only required for the initial connection and is not needed for further shop integrations.

Click on the gear icon in the top right of your Xentral to access the system settings.
Follow the menu path Settings → Selling → Shopware 6 Connector.
Click on "Install App" to prepare the system. A container for the workflows will be created in the background.

Run the Setup Wizard

In the Xentral window, open the menu path Settings → Selling → Shopware 6 Connector and click on + New Integration to start the setup wizard.
In the basic data, give a name of your choice to identify the connection later and set the switch for live mode to the left (inactive).
Click Next and open Shopware.

Create API Data in Shopware

Important: Access ID and security key are only provided once for copying. Make sure you can complete the setup now. Alternatively, have a password safe ready and secure the data there for later.

In the Shopware window, navigate to Settings → System → Integrations.
Click on Add Integration.
Enter a name for the integration to identify it and select "Administrator".
Copy the Access ID.
Now switch back to the Xentral window and continue with the access data.
Enter the URL of your Shopware instance and paste the Access ID from the clipboard.
Switch back to the Shopware window and copy the security key. Paste it here as well.

Click on Test Connection to verify the access data and establish a connection. Once the connection is successfully established, click Next.

Select Features

Then choose which data types you want to exchange between Shopware 6 and Xentral. We recommend activating all features. You can later set each feature to live mode individually and specify which exact data of a feature will be exchanged between the systems.

Select a feature by turning the respective switch to the right.
Click Save to create the interface. This takes a short moment.
Then you can continue with item assignment in the management.
