You have a well-structured shop with matching cross-selling products but don’t want to create every single item as a bundle manually? Then our Ultimate Bundle Plugin is exactly what you need!

How it works – a real-world example

You sell TVs and offer HDMI cables and wall mounts in subcategories? Then create hundreds of bundles with just a few clicks:

Create a bundle: Set up a bundle that includes all TVs based on a dynamic product group or category.
First group – HDMI cables: Add a bundle group and select the “HDMI cables” category. Customers can choose their preferred cable in the storefront.
Second group – wall mount: Create another group with the condition “matching accessories only” (based on Shopware’s cross-selling assignments). This way, only compatible wall mounts are offered.

Depending on the configuration, customers receive a discount on the entire bundle or only on the accessories – keeping the margin of the main product intact.

Mit Hilfe des Bundle Plugins von Web Labels haben wir eine Lösung gefunden, die es uns ermöglich in wenigen Minuten ein Bundle auf 40.000 Produkte zuzuweisen.

Für unsere Zwecke ist es perfekt und dazu ist es auch noch günstiger als die anderen Bundle Plugins.

Installation

Install and activate the plugin via the Plugin Manager or Composer. After activation, you’ll find the bundle management under Catalogues → Bundles.

Basic settings

Configure the plugin under Extensions → My Extensions → Ultimate Bundle Plugin → Configure:

Activate bundles: Global on/off switch for all bundles
Automatic bundles: Automatically assemble bundles in the cart when matching products are added
Discount representation: As a separate cart line item or as a direct price deduction
Position: Display bundles above/below the product description or below the add-to-cart button
Variant inheritance: Automatically inherit bundles to product variants
Incomplete bundles: Allow bundles without complete group selection

Create a bundle (Step 1)

Navigate to Catalogues → Bundles and click Create bundle
Choose a name for your bundle
Set the bundle to active and decide whether to hide products without stock
Define a percentage discount and choose whether to apply it to the main product:
- Enabled: Discount applies to main product + accessories
- Disabled: Discount applies only to accessories (main product margin stays intact)
Choose the product assignment type:
- Products: Manual product selection
- Product stream: All products from a dynamic product group
Save the bundle

Add bundle groups (Step 2)

In the bundle, click Add in the “Groups” section
Enter a name for the group and click Edit
In the modal, choose the product source type:
- Products: Assign individual products manually
- Category: All products from a category
- Product stream: All products from a dynamic product group
Optional: Enable “Show only products from cross-sells” – only products already assigned via cross-selling to the main product will be offered
Optional: Mark the group as optional so customers can deselect it
Optional: Enable quantity selection and set a maximum quantity
Click Apply and save the bundle

Repeat Step 2 as often as needed to add more groups. If a group has multiple products, customers can choose which product to include in the bundle.

Update the index

After creating or changing bundles with product streams or categories, the index needs to be updated. This happens automatically via the plugin’s scheduled task, or manually via the console:

php bin/console wl-bundles:index

Tip: With the FroshTools plugin, you can run scheduled tasks directly from the admin to test your bundle configuration immediately.

Note for ERP users

If your ERP has trouble with discount line items, you can configure the discount as “Direct deduction from the product price” in the plugin settings. Alternatively, our plugin Discount Position as Separate Article for ERP Import can help.
