About the Extension

Show custom fields as columns in the admin product overview

The product overview in the Shopware admin only shows a fixed set of columns. Everything you maintain in custom fields – supplier numbers, internal notes, delivery times, ERP identifiers – stays hidden until you open each product individually.

This plugin makes every product custom field available as a column in the product list. Pick the ones your team needs and see the data right in the overview.

How it works

All custom fields, automatically: Every custom field assigned to products becomes available as a column. No mapping, no maintenance – activate the plugin and the fields are there.
You choose what is visible: All added columns start hidden. Enable exactly the ones you need via the column settings of the product list.
Per user: The column selection is part of the standard Shopware product list settings, so every admin user keeps their own view.
Resizable: Every added column can be resized just like a native one.
Translated labels: Columns are labelled “Field set: Field” in the language of the admin interface, with an automatic fallback when a translation is missing.
New fields appear on their own: Create a new custom field and it is offered as a column right away – no update required.

Do I have to configure the plugin?

No. The plugin has no settings screen. Once activated, all product custom fields are available as columns in the product overview. You enable them via the column settings of the product list.

Why do I not see any new columns after installing?

The columns are deliberately hidden by default so your product list stays unchanged. Open the column settings at the top right of the table and enable the fields you want. Reload the administration once after installing.

Which custom fields are shown?

All custom fields whose field set is assigned to the "Products" entity. You can check this under Settings \ System \ Custom fields. Newly created fields appear automatically – no plugin update required.

Does the column selection apply to all admin users?

No. The selection is part of the standard Shopware product list settings and is stored per user, so everyone on your team can build their own view.

Does the plugin affect the storefront or shop performance?

No. The plugin extends the administration only. Nothing is changed in the storefront.
