About the Extension
Property names are shorthand for people who already know the product. IP68, Shore A 70, 19.5 micron: precise, and close to meaningless for most shoppers. This extension puts a short explanation next to the property itself, at the moment the question comes up.
Write the note once, on a property group or on a single value. Then decide where it shows.
- In the category filter, beside the group heading and beside every value
- In the property table on the product page
- In the variant picker, beside the option the customer is about to choose
Every location has its own switch. A long care instruction can stay on the product page while the filter shows a one-line hint.
How the note appears
In filters and in the property table, an info icon opens the text as a tooltip. In the variant picker you decide per property: a tooltip, or a button that opens a larger dialog when the text runs long. Single values can also reveal their text on hover instead of hiding it behind an icon.
Notes are written in the normal rich text editor, so links and lists work.
Setup
Install, activate, write the first note. The texts live as custom fields on your existing properties, so there is no second place to maintain them and no template to edit. Themes that build on the Shopware storefront templates output them without changes.
Runs on Shopware 6.6 and 6.7.
