About the Extension

Category Discount lets you discount or surcharge entire categories and product groups in Shopware 6 – and shows the offer right where customers decide to buy: in the listing and on the product detail page.

Flexible targeting

Apply a rule to one or more categories, automatically including all sub-categories.
Target dynamic product groups (product streams) – directly or via a category's stream assignment.
Restrict a rule to specific customer groups (ideal for B2B) and sales channels.

Discounts and surcharges

Choose percentage or fixed amount.
Switch a rule into surcharge mode to raise prices instead of lowering them.
Time control with valid-from / valid-until for planned campaigns.
Priority rules: when several rules match a product, the biggest saving wins; ties are resolved by priority.

Storefront presentation

Struck-through original price plus the saving in the listing and on the detail page.
A custom sale badge on the product card – with your own title, text and background color.

Genau das richtige Werkzeug für kundengruppen- und kategoriebasierte Preislogik. Rabatte und Aufschläge lassen sich flexibel kombinieren, die Admin-Konfiguration ist verständlich und die Storefront bleibt performant. Spart uns in B2B-Projekten viel Custom-Code – klare Empfehlung.

Which Shopware version does the plugin support?

WebseDiscount is built for Shopware 6.7 (Storefront and Administration). After upload it installs via Extensions or the console (plugin:install --activate).

Can I discount by percentage and by fixed amount – and also add surcharges?

Yes. Each rule can be percentage-based or a fixed amount. You can also switch a rule into surcharge mode to raise prices instead of lowering them.

Can I limit discounts to certain categories, customer groups or sales channels?

Yes. Target one or more categories (including sub-categories) or a dynamic product group (product stream), and optionally restrict a rule to specific sales channels and customer groups – ideal for B2B pricing.

Does the discounted price also apply in the cart?

Yes. The price is adjusted when the product is loaded, so the reduced price appears in the listing and on the product detail page and is carried into the cart. The focus is on a clear storefront display (strike-through price, badge, info box).

Can I schedule discounts and control which rule wins?

Yes. Set a valid-from / valid-until period per rule. If several rules match a product, the biggest saving wins; ties are resolved by priority. You can also mark a rule as compatible with other discounts or not.

Can I customize the sale badge and do I need to code?

No coding needed. Manage all rules in the Administration under Marketing, in the Category Discounts module. Show a custom sale badge (title, text and background color) and info boxes on category and product detail pages, and optionally hide Shopware's default percentage badge.
