How do the Start and End Dates work?

The date fields use the global UTC standard to ensure schedules are accurate for all users. Please set your desired start and end times in UTC. If you leave both fields blank, the banner will run continuously (as long as it is active).

Why doesn't the banner hide for all users when I close it?

The close button is designed to be user-specific. It saves the "dismissed" state for the current browser session only. This is the best way to avoid conflicts with Shopware's caching. If a user closes their browser and starts a new session, they will see the banner again.
