Custom Template & Custom Twig

About the Extension
Template work usually means file access, a deploy step and a good deal of trust that nobody overwrites the original files. This extension moves that work into the administration.
A new menu entry under Extensions opens a two-column view. On the left, every available Twig template of the selected area is listed by path, either the storefront templates or the document templates. On the right, the selected template opens in a code editor with Twig syntax highlighting, next to a read-only view of the original file so you always see what you are changing.
Nothing is written back into the original template files. Every edit is stored as an override in a dedicated directory inside the project, which is registered with the template loader automatically. If a template has no override yet, the editor opens with a prepared inheritance statement, so you only add the blocks you actually want to change. Deleting an override removes just that file and the original template applies again.
Every save and every delete writes a snapshot into an own database table, together with the timestamp and the name of the person who made the change. The last 25 versions per template are kept and older entries are removed automatically. Select a version to view its content in the comparison pane and load it back into the editor when you want it.
Access is controlled through four roles that appear in the standard role administration: view, edit, create and delete. The save request checks at runtime whether an override already exists and asks for the matching create or update permission. All incoming paths are validated, so directory traversal, null bytes and non-Twig files are rejected before any file operation happens. The cache is refreshed after each save and delete, and the administration interface ships in German and English.
For correct Twig template syntax and extension options, see official documentation on this topic.
Custom templates are stored in the ${SHOPWARE_ROOT}/custom/plugins/.customTemplate/storefront directory. It is therefore possible to copy the directory as a backup or transfer it to other Shopware installations.
