With this powerful Shopware plugin you can optimize the performance of your online shop by automatically converting all images into the modern WebP and AVIF formats. Compared to classic image formats such as JPEG and PNG, WebP and AVIF offer a significantly smaller file size with the same or even better image quality. The plugin recognizes new and existing images and creates lossless or lossy WebP and AVIF versions, depending on the configuration. Visitors automatically receive the optimal format for their browser - either WebP or AVIF. This means your customers benefit from maximum speed without you having to intervene manually. All common Shopware media such as product images, thumbnails or CMS media are supported. Increase the efficiency and future-proofing of your shop with automatic WebP and AVIF image conversion for a modern web experience.
Important: To use this plugin you must be using at least PHP 8.1 so that the PHP function imageavif() is available.
After creating the images, please clear the cache so that the converted images are displayed in the frontend.
