About the Extension
The EU Withdrawal Button gives online merchants a legally compliant and user-friendly way to accept withdrawal declarations directly in their shop - fully in line with EU consumer protection directives and national implementation requirements.
Customers reach the withdrawal form via a configurable button that can be shown in the header, footer, order list, order detail page or checkout confirmation page. Logged-in customers can select their order from a list, automatically pre-filling the order reference.
The two-step process ensures that customers actively confirm the legal binding nature of their declaration before it is submitted. After successful submission, the customer immediately receives an email acknowledgement in their language (German or English), containing all relevant details and the legally required notice that the acknowledgement does not constitute a review of the declaration's validity.
The back office provides a complete management interface. All received withdrawals are listed clearly, can be filtered by status and exported as a CSV file. The status of each withdrawal can be set manually to Received, Processed or Rejected. If the acknowledgement email could not be delivered at the time of submission, it can be resent directly from the detail view.
All settings - from button appearance to placement - are configurable per sales channel.
