Price on Request with Offers and Negotiation
Description
Highlights
About the Extension
Price on request replaces the price of the products you choose with "Price on request" and shows a "Request price" button instead of the add-to-cart button, both by default. Customers send a price request for a single product or for their whole cart, and you answer with an individual offer from the Administration.
Choose products for price on request
You decide which products are on request: with a switch per product, for the whole shop, from a set price, at low stock or through rules. The switch "Never set this product on request" keeps a product off price on request, whatever the other settings say.
- Switch "Set this product on request" in the product's custom fields
- Optional: the complete shop on request
- Optional: on request from a set price
- Optional: on request when the available stock is at or below a threshold
- Optional: on request whenever one of the selected Rule Builder rules matches, for example for a customer group
- By default, "Price on request" replaces the price on the product page, in listings and in the search suggestions, and the price is left out of the structured data and Open Graph tags
- By default, products on request can't be added to the cart; optionally, "Request price" appears together with the add-to-cart button, the price stays visible and the product can be ordered
Price request form in a modal window
On the product page, the "Request price" button opens the request form in a modal window. Customers send it without leaving the page and see the confirmation right there.
- Quantity (for single products), salutation, first and last name, email address (required), phone, company and message
- Logged-in customers find their data already filled in
- Optional: address fields, with street, postal code and city as required fields if you like
- Optional: file upload with your file types (default: pdf, jpg, jpeg, png) and maximum size (default: 5 MB)
- Data protection checkbox, shown and required by default
- The captchas from your Shopware settings
- By default, logged-in customers see a notice if they already have an open request for the same product or cart; optionally, a new request is refused while one is open
- Rate limit per customer account or IP address and per email address
Price request for the whole cart
On the cart page, "Request price for cart" sends all products in the cart with their quantities in one price request.
- Requests for single products and for the cart can be switched off separately
- Optional: a redirect to a page of your choice after a cart request
- If only cart requests are allowed, products on request can go into the cart, but by default the cart can't be ordered; customers send it as a price request instead
Answer price requests with an offer
Price requests arrive under Orders > Price requests. You answer with a message, an optional offer amount and an optional attachment, and the customer gets your answer by email.
- Dashboard with the total, the number of requests per status, a hint on open requests and the 5 most recent requests
- Request list with cart total and sales channel, and filters for status, type, sales channel and date
- Detail page with contact data, message, the customer's attachment and the requested products with unit and total prices
- Statuses: Open, In progress, Answered, Accepted, Closed, Cancelled
- One thread shows every answer, offer and counter offer, with accepted and rejected offers marked
- Permissions for viewing, editing and deleting
- Built-in documentation
Price requests in the customer account
By default, logged-in customers find "Price requests" in the account menu, with the requests they sent while logged in. The detail page shows the requested items and the whole conversation.
- By default, customers accept or reject an offer; accepting closes the request as accepted
- By default, a rejection can carry a counter offer with their own price and a message
- By default, customers reply to a request up to 2 times, counter offers included (0 = no limit)
- By default, customers withdraw a request with "Cancel request" while it is not yet accepted or closed
- Attachments of your answers can be downloaded
Email notifications for price requests
Seven mail templates in English and German keep you and your customers up to date. Your answer goes out in the language of the price request.
- By default, an email for every new price request, to your recipients or the shop email address
- By default, a confirmation for the customer
- Your answer reaches the customer by email, with the offer amount and attachment if added
- By default, an email to you when a customer replies, accepts or rejects an offer, or withdraws a request
