With the donation plugin you give your customers the option to donate to charitable organizations directly at checkout. Manage any number of organizations, offer fixed or freely selectable amounts and strengthen customer loyalty – fully controllable from the admin area.

How it works

At checkout your customer selects an organization and a donation amount
The donation appears as its own line item in the cart
Each organization is presented attractively in a modal window
Customers can find their donations clearly in their account

Note: The donation is not taken into account when calculating the shipping costs of an order. If the donation is removed from the cart, it is marked as „deleted“ in the donation list.

In-app purchases

The basic version stays fully usable. Unlock additional features directly in the administration whenever you need them (Donations → Plans):

Starter – more ways to donate: one-click donation “+ €1 for {charity}” on the product page and in product cards (optionally per item bought), add or remove a donation in the off-canvas cart without reloading, logo and impact text per charity (e.g. “€2 = 1 meal”), logo as image of the donation line in orders.
Business – everything in Starter, plus: dashboard with donations per charity and month, donation rate and average basket with/without donation; payout report per charity and period as CSV and PDF (paid orders only) with “Mark as paid out”; donation goal with progress bar as a Shopping Experiences element; shop matching up to a budget (“We double your donation”), shown separately and never charged to the customer.
Donation receipts – PDF donation receipt per donation, sent automatically by email, downloadable in the customer account and in the administration. Can be booked independently of Starter and Business.

If an in-app purchase ends, only its additional features are deactivated; your data is kept.

Where can I manage the charities for the donation campaigns?

Charities can be easily managed in the administration under Marketing → Donation. Here you can define titles, descriptions, images/banners, and preset donation amounts.

What happens to the donation if the customer empties the cart or cancels the order?

If the shopping cart is emptied, the donation is automatically removed. If an order is canceled, you can configure in the plugin settings whether the donation should also be canceled.

Does the plugin support multiple currencies and custom donation amounts?

Yes. In addition to predefined donation amounts, customers can enter custom amounts. The plugin also supports multi-currency shops.

Can the plugin be activated separately per sales channel?

Yes. The plugin fully supports activating or deactivating it per sales channel. Charities can also be created differently for each channel.
