New Features & Improvements

• Immediate visibility of changes: The shop cache is now automatically cleared after saving code changes. This makes the adjustments immediately visible in the frontend without having to clear the cache manually.
• Rights management (ACL): The plugin now supports the Shopware rights management. Administrators can assign specific read and write permissions for the Custom JS/CSS module to employees.
• Multi-language support: Error messages and hints in the administration are now displayed in the language of the logged-in user.

Bugfixes

• Plugin activation: The switch for general enabling and disabling in the plugin settings now works as intended and reliably controls the code output in the shop.
• Protection against layout errors: Fixed an issue where specific character sequences ( or ) within the custom code could break the HTML layout of the shop.
• SCSS error handling: Errors during SCSS compilation are now correctly detected and reported, instead of loading incomplete or faulty code into the shop.
• Stable shop display on errors: If errors occur while injecting the code, the frontend of the shop is no longer affected. For easier troubleshooting, these are now saved in a separate log file.
• Compatibility: The internal technical names of the plugin have been adjusted to prevent possible naming conflicts with other plugins or future Shopware updates.

Fixed

• The data cleanup on uninstall now also invalidates Shopware's system configuration cache. The previous version removed the database rows via a direct SQL DELETE, which did not dispatch SystemConfigChangedEvent and therefore left the CachedSystemConfigLoader cache (tag system-config) in place — on environments with a persistent object cache the stored code blocks could reappear after reinstalling the extension. Deletion now runs through SystemConfigService::delete(), which removes the rows and invalidates the cache.
• All keys of the WolfscstlCustomJsCss.config.* domain are now removed explicitly (global and per sales channel), including codeBlocks. This key is not declared in config.xml and is therefore not covered by Shopware's built-in cleanup.

Verification

Verified end-to-end inside a Dockware container (Shopware 6.7.2.2): code blocks set, extension uninstalled with the "remove all data" option, then reinstalled — no database rows remain under the extension domain and nothing is injected into the storefront.

Fixed

• Complete data cleanup on uninstall — the uninstall() method now removes every system_config entry under the WolfscstlCustomJsCss.config.* domain (global as well as per sales channel) when the user does not choose to keep data. This resolves the Shopware Store QA finding "All extension data removed from database after uninstallation".
• keepUserData() is fully respected — selecting "keep data" during uninstallation leaves the entire configuration untouched.

Note

This is the only data the extension writes to the database; it creates no custom tables, entities or custom fields. After a full uninstallation without keeping data, no extension data remains.

Fixed

• Definitively fixed the "Wolfscstl\CustomJsCss\Controller\Api\CodeBlockController has no container set" error — the controller now extends Symfony\Bundle\FrameworkBundle\Controller\AbstractController and the DI container is injected via an explicit setContainer call in services.xml.
• Removed forbidden exec() and shell_exec() calls from the CodeCompilerService — TypeScript is now handled exclusively through the regex fallback (the npx tsc path was effectively dead code in production anyway).
• Removed forbidden local-disk operations (mkdir, file_put_contents, unlink, rmdir) — no temporary directories are created any more.
• Removed forbidden snippets property from Module.register — snippets are now auto-loaded from the snippet directory.
• Resized plugin icon from 800×800 / 39 KB to 112×112 / 5.7 KB (Shopware Store limit: 256×256 / 30 KB max).
• composer.json descriptions (German and English) brought into the required 150–185 character range.
• Type annotation for compileCss/compileJs now correctly declares the optional warning field — fixes PHPStan offset error.
• Removed unused imports and unused catch parameters from the admin JavaScript.
• Reduced SCSS nesting depth in sw-code-block-editor.scss to comply with max-nesting-depth: 3.

Validation

Re-validated with shopware-cli extension validate --full --store-compliance: 0 errors / 0 warnings. Smoke-tested inside a Dockware container, storefront injection and code block persistence verified end-to-end.
