About the Extension

This plugin extends the standard registration form in Shopware 6 to allow customers to register as a public organisation. For this purpose, an additional selection option is added to the registration process, which is specifically aimed at institutions such as public authorities, schools, universities or other public organisations.

If ‘Public organisation’ is selected, the same fields are displayed as for business customers. In addition, you can configure in the admin area whether the VAT ID is a mandatory field or not. This allows the requirements of different public organisations to be mapped flexibly.

The extension fits seamlessly into the existing registration process and is compatible with standard templates and customised themes.
