About the Extension
From 2 August 2026, images that are AI-generated or AI-modified must be clearly labeled as such under Article 50 of the EU AI Act. This plugin lets you meet that obligation in Shopware 6 without ever touching the source code.How it works
Open any image in the Media Manager and choose, in the right-hand sidebar, whether it's "AI generated" or "AI modified". You can also set the same labeling directly while uploading an image in the Shopping Experiences editor – no need to switch to the Media Manager at all.
Once an image is labeled, the plugin automatically overlays a matching badge – on the product detail page (including the image gallery and zoom), in product listings, in CMS image elements, on the manufacturer logo, and anywhere else the image appears in the storefront. Nothing to link or maintain manually.
Full control over the appearance
In the plugin configuration you can switch the labeling on or off globally at any time and freely choose the badge position (top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right). Four badge styles are available: black or white, with a transparent or solid background.
