About the Extension

The Shopware admin you know

Shopware 6.7 has a new admin design. If you or your team liked the old look better, this plugin brings it back. You keep all new Shopware features, only the look changes.

Dark menu with module colours

The main menu is dark blue again, with white active entries and the orange user role. Each module has its own icon colour, like before: Dashboard cyan, Catalogues green, Orders purple, Customers orange and so on. Menus from other plugins keep their own colour too.

Flat layout, classic blue and the old login

The content area is flat again, without the grey frame and round corners. Buttons and links use the classic Shopware blue. The login page shows the photo with "Hello! Welcome back." and the blue Shopware badge.

You decide what changes

Menu, layout, colours and login each have their own switch in the plugin settings. Mix the old and the new look the way you like. The dark theme of Shopware stays as it is.

Does the plugin change the storefront or my data?

No. It only changes the look of the admin. Your storefront, products, orders and settings stay the same.

Do I lose the new Shopware 6.7 features?

No. All new features stay. Only colours, the menu style, the layout and the login page look like before.

Can I use only some parts of the classic design?

Yes. Menu, layout, classic blue and login each have their own switch in the plugin settings. Changes show right after saving.

Does it work with the dark theme?

The classic design only applies to the light theme, because the old admin never had a dark mode. If a user picks the dark theme, Shopware's dark design stays as it is.

Do menus from other plugins get a colour too?

Yes. The plugin reads the colour each module brings with it, so menus from other plugins keep their own colour.

I turned off the classic login, but I still see it. Why?

The login page loads before you log in, so this setting is saved in your browser. Log in once after saving and the login page will follow your new setting.
