Does the smart search work with multiple sales channels?

Yes. The result limit and the toggles for keywords, categories and manufacturers are stored per sales channel via the plugin configuration.

How do I make a product appear further up in the search?

The plugin adds a custom field “Search sort position (pinning)” to every product. A higher number means the product appears further up in the search suggestions. An empty value means no special treatment.

Can I hide individual sections such as categories or manufacturers?

Yes. Keywords, categories and manufacturers can each be toggled on or off in the plugin configuration.

Do I need to customise templates to get this suggestion layout?

No. The plugin overrides the default search suggestion template and ships with its own product slider. Named Twig blocks with the zweipunkt_ prefix are available for further customisation.

Does the plugin change the regular search result page?

No. The plugin only hooks into the storefront ProductSuggest events and groups the hits into products, manufacturers, categories and keywords. The regular search result page is untouched.
