About the Extension

The "Easy Direct Debit" app for Shopware 6 is the ideal solution to add the missing Name, IBAN and BIC fields to the standard SEPA payment method without resorting to a Payment Service Provide. With this app, customers can conveniently enter their SEPA payment information during the checkout process, resulting in a smooth and efficient payment process.

Where is the data stored?

The SEPA information is stored in your store. At the Custom Fields of the order and at the custom fields of the customer. From there they can also be viewed in the administration.

Can the standard Shopware payment method be used?

Yes, the plugin does not add a new payment method. The payment method where the fields are displayed can be set in the administration. However, currently it is only possible to select one payment method.

The data is not validated successfully. What can I do?

The validation makes a request to the domain of the shop. If the shop has several domains, this should be adapted (the https protocol should also be used). All other domains that are not the main domain should redirect to the main domain, this also has advantages for the google ranking.

Is the data validated?

The plugin validates the entered IBAN and SWIFT for their logical structure, but independently. If one of the two fields is invalid, the checkout process is prevented.
