Go to the online store’s extensions. There you can install and activate the app. No further steps are required for the basic setup.
Automatic deletion of archived emails
If you go to the extensions and open the app’s configuration, you can enter a value (in days). Archived emails will then be stored for x days before they are deleted. If you enter 0 there, you can disable the process so that all emails remain archived permanently.
Caution: Disabling the automatic deletion of old emails after x days can consume a lot of storage space depending on the shop. We recommend setting this value to 30 to 60 days.
Email Archive
Open the online store’s settings. There you’ll find the “Email Archive” section. As soon as you open it, you’ll see a list of all archived emails. If you click one of them, the detail page opens. There you’ll find all important information. You can also resend the email from there—either to the original recipients or to a newly defined recipient group.
Add CC/BCC recipients
If you go to the Flow Builder and open a flow, you can now add new CC and BCC recipients when editing the standard “Send email” action. Once this flow is triggered, those recipients will be added to the email.
Versioning of email templates
Go to Extensions > Email Templates and open the desired template. On the right in the sidebar you’ll now find a new save icon. Open it to enter a name for the version and then save it. Afterwards, you can also view/open, restore, or delete saved versions in the sidebar module.
Caution: When adding/saving a new version, the email template currently stored in the database is always saved. This means you must save your current changes first.
Testing (“debugging”) email templates
Once you have opened an email template in the settings, there is now a debugging bug icon in the right sidebar. There you can click the top button to test the template in all language versions modified by the email template.
