How it works
The plugin marks products with a future release date as preorder and enables splitting of mixed orders into separate orders per release date via a Flow Builder action.
When the payment status or payment method of a split order changes, the plugin automatically mirrors the change to all related sibling orders.
Technical foundation
- Uses the native Shopware product release date.
- Automatically creates two order fields: release date and original order ID.
- Fields are self-healing on plugin activation and update.
