Function
This plugin lets you change the shipping and payment method of existing orders directly in the order detail view of the Shopware administration. Changing the payment method cancels the previous transaction and creates a new one — similar to a payment change in the customer account.
Permissions
The fields are only editable for users with the order.editor permission. Users without this permission can still see the selection fields but cannot change them.
Change payment method
- The modal only offers payment methods assigned to the order's sales channel and active.
- After the change, the view refreshes in place without a full page reload.
- The previous payment is cancelled and a new payment is created for the selected method.
- The customer can optionally be notified by email.
Change shipping method
- The shipping method can be easily changed in the order detail view.
- The change does not trigger a recalculation of shipping costs — costs remain unchanged.
