About the Extension
More information at: https://loyalty.demo.codegiganten.de/
Our extension offers a comprehensive and sophisticated customer loyalty program.
Customers can earn points through specific actions:
- Orders in the shop (dependent on sales/revenue)
- Shop registration
- Refer a friend (integration with our extension Refer a Friend)
- Birthday (integration with our extension Birthday promotion code)
- Newsletter subscription
- Filling in custom fields for the first time
By collecting points, customers can advance through multiple tiers, using a global configurable tiered system from "Bronze" (standard tier) -> "Silver" -> "Gold" -> "Platinum". This tier system can be individually customized (uniform for all sales channels) and extended.
The higher the tier, the better the benefits the customer receives, such as a higher permanent discount or more points.
- Discounts on your purchases (variable depending on the customer's level/tier)
Collected points expire after a predefined period. This motivates customers to remain active and continue ordering. The accumulated bonus points cannot be redeemed in the shop but serve exclusively to reach the individual tiers.
Additionally, "Booster Weeks" can be created, lasting for a certain period, to encourage customers to collect more points. This allows marketing to award, for example, double points per action during specific weeks.
The extension leverages several standard Shopware processes to make configuration as straightforward as possible.

Unser Favorit für ein integriertes Treueprogramm
Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

- Install and activate the plugin as usual via the Shopware Extension Manager.
2. Make Basic Settings:
- Adjust the configurations in the extension's settings according to your requirements.
- After plugin installation, you must assign the automatically generated discount promotions of the customer loyalty program to the desired sales channels for the discounts to be active there.
- Under Marketing > Loyalty Program, you can create or edit the levels and booster weeks. Standard levels are already pre-configured and can be adjusted as needed.
2.7.0 6.7.0.0 - 6.7.13.0
- **Breaking change:** the plugin's admin API endpoints (`/api/cogi/loyalty/...`) now additionally require the ACL privilege `customer:read` (read) or `customer:update` (write). Integrations and admin roles without these privileges receive a `403` — see `docs/api-endpoints.md`. The roles "Customers – viewer/editor" now also cover the loyalty entities, so they can be granted in the role administration.
- Fixed: the "interval deduction" scheduled task could run endlessly without ever completing, because its batch pagination never excluded the customers it had already processed.
- Fixed: the interval deduction could book the same cycle repeatedly and drain point balances. The new due date is now stored together with the deduction, and a check in the point ledger prevents a cycle from being booked twice.
- Fixed: loyalty points that never expire are now redeemed last, so expiring points are used up before they can expire.
- Fixed: point expiry and the expiry warning mail now evaluate the exact expiration time instead of the date only, so points no longer expire up to a day early and the warning mail is sent for points expiring on the same day.
- Fixed: the refund and expiry tasks no longer skip roughly half of the due transactions when more than 100 are pending in one run.
- Fixed: transaction numbers are now reserved atomically. Parallel orders, API calls and batch bookings can no longer receive the same number or move the counter backwards.
- Fixed: a failing point release is now retried via the message queue instead of aborting the scheduled task run or the customer's request.
- Fixed: the first order bonus was created again on every order and immediately cancelled when the customer was not entitled to it (e.g. because their first order predates the bonus configuration). Entitlement is now checked before the transaction is created, and a migration removes the cancelled bonus rows from the existing history. Point balances are unaffected — those rows were never credited.
- Fixed: stored HTML in transaction descriptions is sanitized before being rendered in the customer account.
- Fixed: the guest-to-customer conversion endpoint now rejects already registered customers, so email and password can no longer be changed there without the current password.
2.6.7 6.7.0.0 - 6.7.13.0

Existing mail templates have to be extended manually so that individual adjustments are preserved.

- Adapted/customized the transaction overview in the customer account area.
- Visually optimized the points redemption element in the checkout.

- Allowed HTML code in opt-in storefront label translation snippets (`CogiCustomerLoyalty.registration.optInLabel`, `CogiCustomerLoyalty.profile.optInLabel`, `CogiCustomerLoyalty.cart.optInLabel` and `CogiCustomerLoyalty.checkout.optInLabel`) to support links (e.g. to terms and conditions).

2.4.8 6.7.0.0 - 6.7.13.0
- Replaced the deprecated `sw-media-field` with the new `sw-media-upload-v2` component in the loyalty level creation/detail views and the "Earn points" CMS element configuration.
2.4.7 6.7.0.0 - 6.7.13.0
- Added compatibility with the NetiNextEasyCoupon plugin: voucher/coupon line items of type `easy-coupon` are now correctly taken into account when calculating shopping cart loyalty points.

- Added a new warning notification feature that warns customers a configurable number of days before their points expire if the expiration would cause a level demotion.
