About the Extension

cogi Commander brings shop analytics, funnel tracking and practical merchandising extensions into one dedicated Shopware admin module. The plugin captures key storefront events, turns them into dashboards and detailed statistics, and makes marketing, commerce and customer journey data directly usable inside Shopware.

Its focus is on real commerce reporting for revenue, orders, visitors, conversion, profit, search, CMS, marketing and attribution. It also adds built-in referral codes, freely configurable custom funnels, a journey view directly on orders, and optional insights for compatible cogi Suite extensions.

On top of analytics, cogi Commander extends daily Shopware work with practical merchandising and rule-based tools: CMS slots can be shown or hidden by rule, promotions can appear as storefront strike prices, promotion duration is displayed directly in the admin, and the promotion icon in checkout can be customized. Custom delivery-time rules for carts and line items complete the feature set.

This extension is highlighted as part of the Premium Partner Program and can therefore be displayed with priority in the store.

Install and activate cogi Commander as usual via the Shopware Plugin Manager.
Then open the plugin configuration for cogi Commander.
Under Search statistics, choose the data source for the search tiles. Auto uses CogiInsightSearch when the plugin is installed and configured; otherwise it falls back to Commander’s own funnel data.
Under Profit / Margin, define which source should be used for purchase prices. For most shops, Order payload (recommended) is the right choice.
Optionally enable Subtract shipping cost from profit if paid shipping costs should reduce the calculated profit.
Under Checkout Promotion Icon, configure the icon you want to use for promotion line items in the cart and offcanvas cart. You can also define your own storefront icon and custom color.
Open cogi Commander in the admin. There you will find the main dashboard, detailed statistics, referral codes, custom funnels and the Journey Explorer.
If cogi Commander should be used as the default start dashboard, enable the corresponding option in the dashboard settings inside the Commander module.
Under Referral codes, create your own codes and store the matching UTM source, UTM medium and UTM campaign. Visits using `?ref=YOURCODE` will then be assigned automatically.
Under Custom funnels, create your own funnel stages based on supported events such as page view, product view, add to cart, checkout started or order completed.
For CMS visibility, open the settings of a CMS slot in Shopping Experiences and select a Shopware rule under Visibility rule. The slot will only be shown if the selected rule matches.
In the Rule Builder, the conditions Cart with delivery time and Line item with delivery time are available. This allows you to use delivery times specifically in Shopware rules.
For storefront strike prices, open an automatic promotion and enable the custom field Show as strike price on storefront in the promotion settings.
The promotion duration helper does not require any separate configuration. As soon as Valid from and Valid until are filled, Commander shows the selected duration directly in the promotion admin.
Optional cogi Suite extensions are detected automatically inside Commander and displayed as additional insight areas, provided they are installed.
Tracking starts automatically in the storefront after activation and respects Do Not Track as well as existing statistics consent settings.
