About the Extension

Sell internationally without maintaining every text in every language. Google Auto-Translate detects your visitor's browser language and automatically shows your Shopware store in that language via Google Translate – from product pages to checkout.

How it works

The extension recognises the browser language and translates the page automatically; visitors can switch languages anytime via the language menu.
Your shop's default language is never machine-translated.
Legal and consent texts at checkout (T&Cs, right of withdrawal) are always protected from machine translation.
The Google Translate script loads only after the visitor has accepted cookies.

Highlights for marketing & international shops

Language links for ads: add ?lang=fr (or any code) to a shop URL to open it directly in that language – ideal for multilingual Google Ads campaigns. UTM parameters are preserved.
Currency- or domain-based language: switch the language based on the selected currency, or redirect by domain.
Flexible design: flags, full language names or language codes; modern button style; choose and sort the languages offered.
Fine control: country dropdowns are excluded automatically, and you can exclude further areas via CSS selectors.
For developers: the active language is exposed via a data-deepw-language attribute and a deepw-language-changed event.

Das Tool funktioniert einwandfrei und übersetzt per Drop-Down-Auswahl in viele verschiedene Sprachen.

Für internationale Online-Shops ein sehr gutes Tool, ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Which Shopware Version is the Plugin compatible with?

Basically, our plugins are compatible with each other. If there should be restrictions or malfunctions, we will gladly check them in a timely manner. In individual cases, it may happen that functionalities of individual plugins from our house are excluded. In this case, we will point this out to you. However, this compatibility can only be guaranteed for our plugin. The market of third party providers and their plugins makes it impossible to take into account all functionalities and modes of operation. This also applies to plugins from Shopware that are not included in the Community Edition. In a few cases, multiple manipulation of the same template blocks in the theme can lead to display deficits. Unfortunately, we have no influence on this due to the original shop software. Due to this circumstance, only an individual solution can be provided in such cases.

Can a default language be set so that it is not translated?

Yes, in the plugin configuration you can select the default language of your page. This will not be translated.
