About the Extension

With the official GLS Shipping Extension for Shopware you create GLS shipping labels in just two clicks, right in your Shopware administration. The extension connects directly to the GLS ShipIT API. Apart from the shipping costs, no other fees are incurred, and no manual CSV export is needed.

For every order you create shipping and return labels, retrieve them as a PDF straight away and print them directly. Incorrect labels can be cancelled from the administration. Tracking codes land in the order automatically, and you start shipment tracking from the order overview.

Please note: this extension is designed for use in Germany, Austria, Belgium, France and Ireland and cannot be used in other countries.

Requirements for using this extension

You need a customer ID, a contact ID and WebAPI credentials from your GLS contact person. Good to know: the API access is not a separate contract, just another user in your GLS portal.

danke für die 5 Sterne, und schön, dass nach DHL jetzt auch GLS bei dir läuft.

Für alle, die mitlesen: Die GLS Versand Erweiterung ist die offizielle GLS Integration für Shopware, hängt direkt an der GLS ShipIT Farm API und ist kostenlos. Außer deinen Versandkosten bei GLS fallen keine Entgelte an, und kein CSV-Export von Hand.

Falls du seit dem Setup nicht mehr in die Release Notes geschaut hast: Retourenetiketten gibt es inzwischen auch, GLS-Tagesabschlüsse lassen sich direkt in der Administration erstellen, und pro Versandart kannst du jetzt ShopDelivery für die Zustellung an einen ParcelShop, Signature sowie LimitedQuantities aktivieren.

Ich habe leider immer wieder Schwierigkeiten mit den nachfolgenden Fehlermeldung. Das nachträgliche Kürzen der Felder schafft keine Abhilfe. Seltsamerweise kann ich aber mit genau denselben Eingaben über die GLS Website ein Label erstellen.

danke für die 3 Sterne und vor allem dafür, dass du die Fehlermeldung im Original mitgeschickt hast. Das ist deutlich hilfreicher als jede allgemeine Beschwerde.

Der Grund für den Effekt, den du beschreibst: Die GLS ShipIT API validiert Adressfelder strenger und mit anderen Längenbegrenzungen als die GLS Weboberfläche. Deshalb kann dieselbe Adresse dort durchgehen und über die Schnittstelle kippen. Nachträgliches Kürzen hilft nur, wenn genau das Feld gekürzt wird, das GLS beanstandet. Dafür brauchen wir einen echten Fall aus deinem Shop.

Zwei Dinge, die sofort helfen: Die Lieferadresse kannst du direkt im Versandetiketten-Dialog korrigieren, ohne die Bestellung anzufassen. Und wenn du uns die betroffene Bestellung über help.pickware.com schickst, schauen wir uns das Feld-Mapping konkret an, statt zu raten.

Solche Meldungen nehmen wir außerdem als Anlass, die Fehlertexte selbst besser zu machen. Seit deinem Review gibt es unter anderem einen Button „Zum Helpcenter" direkt in der Konfiguration, der den passenden Artikel öffnet. Gib uns die Chance, den Rest wegzuräumen.

Ein Super Plugin. Sobald ich verstanden hatte das der API Zugang nur ein weiterer User im GLS-Portal ist, konnte man auch das Passwort richtig erstellen :) Und es funktioniert alles bestens.

„Ein Super Plugin" und „es funktioniert alles bestens" bei 3 Sternen: wir nehmen den Text und arbeiten an den fehlenden zwei Sternen.

Dein Aha-Moment ist übrigens genau der, den fast alle haben: Der API-Zugang für die GLS Versand Erweiterung ist kein separater Vertrag, sondern schlicht ein weiterer Benutzer in deinem GLS Portal. Du brauchst Kunden-ID, Kontakt-ID und die WebAPI-Zugangsdaten, den Rest macht die Erweiterung. Genau diesen Punkt haben wir inzwischen im Helpcenter deutlicher herausgestellt und in der Pluginkonfiguration einen Button „Zum Helpcenter" ergänzt, der direkt auf die Anleitung springt. Danke, dass du die Stelle markiert hast, an der es hakt.

Seit deinem Review sind außerdem Retourenetiketten, GLS-Tagesabschlüsse in der Administration und die Services ShopDelivery, Signature und LimitedQuantities dazugekommen. Wenn dir noch etwas fehlt: pack es auf roadmap.pickware.com, wir nehmen jeden Wunsch gerne in die Feature-Planung auf.
