About the Extension

Export as PDF everywhere

With "PDF Export", your visitors save content from your shop as a PDF with a single click. The button is available in five places:

Product page: data sheet or product overview with image, price and description
Category listing: product list with image, name, product number, description and price
Cart: the cart page as PDF
Offcanvas cart: straight from the mini cart, without a detour to the cart page
Wishlist: for guests and logged-in customers

Each place can be enabled individually in the backend. Columns and price display are configurable per area. Ideal for data sheets, catalogs, wish lists and order templates.

The PDFs at a glance

All PDFs come with your logo, a three-column header (address, contact, legal information) and your footer. Images are embedded directly, even if the shop is protected by HTTP auth.

New: Offers with address

In addition to the regular export, there is a "PDF offer" button on the product page and a "Save as offer" button in the cart and in the offcanvas cart.

Customers with an account receive the offer directly, their data is taken over automatically.
Guests fill in a short form in a modal. You decide what is requested: e-mail only, e-mail and name, or e-mail with complete address, optionally with a comment field. Or skip the form entirely and hand out the PDF directly.
The offer contains the offer number, date, validity date, customer address, items with image and all totals including VAT.
You set the validity (in days), the file name (Twig) and a custom footer in the plugin settings.

New: Manage offers in the administration

Every offer is stored (including the PDF) and listed under Orders > Offers. You can search by name or e-mail, open the PDF again or delete offers. A retention period (in months) automatically cleans up old offers.

New: E-mail delivery via the Flow Builder

When an offer is created, the flow trigger "PDF offer created" is fired. The plugin installs a mail template and a ready-made flow, and the PDF is attached to the e-mail. You can extend the flow as you like: mail to the shop owner, set a tag, webhook to your CRM or custom actions. The exports (product, listing, cart, wishlist) each have their own trigger with a prepared, inactive flow as well.

Offer Number

As soon as the string ##OFFERNUMBER## appears in a PDF file, the offer number will be inserted there. It doesn't matter whether the string appears in a TWIG template, text module or, for example, the product description. The number range can be changed here: Settings > Shop > Number ranges

Does the WebP format work?

Yes, the plugin supports *.webp images from Shopware version 6.5. Shopware 6.4 uses an older version of DomPDF, which unfortunately does not yet support WebP. It may be possible to try to increase the DomPDF version in Shopware 6.4 so that WebP images work.

Email to the shop owner

From version 1.5.2, it is possible for the shop owner to receive an email with the generated PDF. The function can be activated individually for each PDF. If you have any further wishes regarding the function (email template etc.), please feel free to contact me!

Translation of the header and footer

Note: The use of Twig code in the header is only possible from version 1.5.2. The fields can be translated in the following ways: - Per sales channel - Per language When translating per sales channel, the field can simply be overwritten per sales channel in the settings. If you want to translate the fields per language, you can use Twig code and a text module. Here is an example for the footer: Create a text module with the name "pdfexport.footer.text" (the name can be chosen freely) and insert the following content: "Created on %date%.
This document does not constitute an offer. The current prices in the online shop apply." In the plugin settings, the following is now entered into the configuration for the footer: {{ "pdfexport.footer.text"|trans({"%date%": "now"|date("d.m.Y")})|raw }}

Translation of other content

All other content can be translated using the standard Shopware functions. For fixed texts, e.g. text modules. Content such as products can simply be translated with the products.
