Show the home page in the breadcrumb
By default, the Shopware breadcrumb starts at the category. With "Home Breadcrumb & Rich Snippets" the home page is added as the first item, for example Home > Clothing > Women. Visitors get back to the home page with one click, and the path looks complete.
The plugin extends the existing breadcrumb of your theme. No custom templates are needed.
Freely chosen name
The name of the first item is a simple text field: "Home", "Start page" or the name of your shop. If you do not want the home item, switch it off with one toggle.
Hide the breadcrumb
Do you want no breadcrumb in a particular sales channel? One toggle hides it completely. The setting applies per sales channel, so the breadcrumb stays in your other shops.
Home page in the rich snippet
Shopware outputs the breadcrumb as a schema.org BreadcrumbList, which search engines use to show the path in search results. Optionally, the plugin adds the home page as position 1 of this list. All other positions move up by one automatically.
Note: This option is off by default. Outputting the home page in the rich snippet may lead to penalties from Google. Check the effect beforehand, for example with Google's Rich Results Test.
