With the “weltweitversenden” plugin, you can automate domestic and international shipping directly within Shopware. The integration connects your Shopware store with Paket-International.com / weltweitversenden.de and covers key shipping processes, from shipping rate calculation and customs estimation to label creation and customs documentation.

Suitable carrier options can already be displayed on the product page and during checkout, based on the recipient address, order value, weight and product data. For international shipments, the plugin can also calculate customs duties and import charges and include them directly in the shipping process.

This gives your customers greater transparency about available shipping options and potential import costs before completing their order.

Create shipping labels directly from Shopware

Shipping labels can be purchased and generated directly through the integration. The plugin supports two different workflows:

• Automatic shipping: The shipping label is created automatically when the order is completed.

• Packed mode: The order is processed first, while the shipping label is purchased later in the Shopware administration area once the final package dimensions and weight are known.

This makes the integration suitable for both highly automated e-commerce workflows and warehouse processes where shipments are packed, measured and weighed before dispatch.

Integrate customs processing into your shipping workflow

The required shipping and customs documents can also be generated automatically.

Depending on your preferred workflow, documents can be created:

• automatically in real time during the checkout and shipping process, or

• later, once the final package data has been entered.

For automatic processing, the plugin uses either the package information provided through the product data or the default package dimensions configured in the plugin settings.

Shipping and customs documents directly in Shopware

Once created, the relevant shipping labels and customs documents are returned to Shopware and remain available there for further processing.

This allows international orders to be handled largely within the existing Shopware workflow, without manually transferring shipment data and documents between different systems.
