About the Extension

Shop Insights replaces Shopware's limited default dashboard with a fully customizable analytics experience. No external services. No data leaves your server. Just clear, actionable numbers.

Choose from 60 widgets across 9 categories: revenue and orders, profit and financial, products, customers, checkout and payment, marketing, manufacturers, shipping, and reviews. Each widget is purpose-built to answer a specific business question, from "What's my average order value today?" to "Which products are losing money?"

Get started in under a minute. A setup wizard walks you through three steps: choose a pre-built template (Essentials, Comprehensive, Minimal, or Empty), optionally import historical order data, and you're done. The backfill process runs in the background using Shopware's message queue, so your shop stays fast.

Build your perfect dashboard. Add sections with different layouts (4-column for KPIs, 2-column for charts, full-width for tables). Drag widgets from the library into any section. Rearrange, remove, and reconfigure at any time. Every admin user sees the same shared dashboard, ensuring your team works from one source of truth.

Profit analytics built in. Shop Insights calculates gross profit, net profit, and profit margins using your product purchase prices. See which products actually drive your bottom line, not just revenue.

Daily snapshots keep your data current. A scheduled task runs every night to aggregate your order data into optimized snapshots. Widget loading is fast because queries hit pre-calculated data, not raw order tables.

All data stays on your server. No cloud service, no third-party tracking, no GDPR concerns.
