About the Extension

With our app, you can store a shipping address for a shipping method selected by you. If now in the ordering process, the shipping method selected by you is active, the configured delivery address is automatically stored on the order overview page. Thus, when choosing the shipping method "pickup", the customer is directly shown where the pickup will take place and it is documented in the order confirmation. The extension allows you to define different pick-up locations, each of which is assigned to its own shipping method.
Optionally, the option "Show collection date?" can be activated. This allows the customer to select a collection date in the online shop. If the customer selects a collection date, this is also recorded in the custom field "Dispatch plugin - Collect date" when the order is placed.

When creating a picku p address, you can use the ‘Allowed dates’ and ‘Allow pick up on specific days’ features.

If you define a date under ‘Allowed dates’, the customer can only select this date for collection when selecting the date in the online shop; the other dates in the calendar are greyed out. This feature is useful if, for example, you want to enable collection from your stand at trade fairs or events.

If you activate the ‘Allow pick up on specific days’ option, you can define the days of the week for which your customers can select collection. All other days of the week are greyed out in the calendar. You can also select the earliest collection date or the latest collection date. If you enter a 0 for the earliest collection date, the customer can select the same day as the collection date. For the latest collection date, you specify how far in advance your customer can choose the collection date. Example: Collection is only permitted on a Wednesday, a 0 is entered for the earliest collection date and a 14 for the latest collection date. The customer now orders on a Wednesday. He could then select the collection for the same day and all Wednesdays within the 14 days. 

Options

  • Customer name in collection address?: Decide whether your customer's name should be included in the address.
  • Disable tax exemption for "pickup" shipping methods?: If you activate this option, ‘pick-up’ shipping methods will be excluded from tax exemption.
  • Show collection date?: Activating this option allows your customer to select a collection date. 
  • Show reset shipping method button: If this option is activated, a button will be displayed below the collection address, allowing the customer to switch back to the previous shipping method. 
  • Collection date required?:  Decide whether customers must specify a collection date.
  • Automatically reload page if shipping methode was not correctly set? When this option is enabled, the page will automatically reload if a shipping method is no longer available and another shipping method must be selected.

Further information

General
Our extensions are based on standard functions of Shopware 6 (Community Edition) and the standard responsive theme. Individual or heavily customised themes cannot be taken into account during development. In such cases, adjustments may be necessary to ensure full compatibility.

Compatibility
Our extensions are generally compatible with each other. If functions are mutually exclusive or overlap, we explicitly point this out in the extension description.
We guarantee compatibility with the Community Edition and the standard theme. If you encounter any difficulties, we will of course be happy to assist you. We cannot guarantee compatibility with third-party extensions or Shopware Premium extensions.

Please check the following in advance:

  • Latest version of the extension installed
  • Valid rental licence
  • Error also occurs in the standard theme
  • Third-party extensions are deactivated
  • No custom code modifications to the extension

For the analysis, we require:

  • Unrestricted admin access
  • Additional SSH or database access, if necessary

Important: You are responsible for setting up and removing access. We also recommend a staging or development environment for support.
If it is determined that the cause is not related to our extension (e.g. theme customisations, third-party plugins or server configuration), further analysis will be carried out at a charge after prior consultation.
