About the Extension
To give your customers a better introduction to the categories, you can use this extension to automatically display all subcategories of a category in an shopping experience. You can use the shopping experience element to customise the overview and also create an ideal overview of the categories for your customers.
The app adds the new "category teaser" element to the existing shopping experience elements. This allows the categories to be displayed in the desired layout.
The extension offers different display options for the subcategories. In addition to displaying the categories with an image, a text or icon can also be displayed. It is also possible to deactivate the display of the image in the configuration of the element. The stored display image of the category is automatically used as the image.
The "Category teaser" element offers you further setting options so that you can customise the category list for your shop.
The number of category columns and the tile height can be defined for each resolution (desktop, tablet, mobile) in the configuration of the element. This ensures a good overview and the category list can be ideally adapted to the image format and the overall appearance of your Shopware shop.
You can use the custom fields in the categories to define further configurations.
Individual categories can be hidden in this area. This is helpful, for example, if only certain categories are to be highlighted on the start page. Hiding is independent of the menu visibility of the category.
The custom category fields also offer the option of displaying further information for the categories. For example, a category teaser text can be stored and displayed alongside the image and the title of the category. This provides the customer with additional information on the category or to differentiate between the categories at category level.

General information
Our apps are developed on the basis of the standard functionalities of the basic Shopware 6 system. This applies to the functionalities and designs of the basic system. Individual themes cannot be taken into account when developing the app. It may therefore be necessary to make individual adjustments to the theme in order to display all elements/functionalities correctly.
Compatibility
We develop our apps with compatibility in mind. If compatibility cannot be guaranteed, we will note this in the app description. We cannot guarantee the compatibility of our apps with apps from other manufacturers. Due to the large number of apps offered in the Shopware Community Store, a compatibility check is not possible. Likewise, we cannot guarantee compatibility with Shopware apps that are not included in the Community Edition.
Support
We will check whether the specified error is caused by our apps or has another cause. Depending on the result of the investigation, we will inform you whether the rectification is chargeable or not. If independent changes have been made to our apps, the work involved will be invoiced.
Test version
