About the Extension

With this extension, the variant properties of the products can already be displayed in the category listing.

With the optional quick buy function, the variant selection can already be made in the listing so that you no longer have to go to the product detail page to put the product in the shopping cart.

The properties displayed can be set individually - for the entire shop, at product level or via the experience world configuration.

In addition, the prices of the variants can also be displayed in the “list” and “drop-down menu” display types.

Important note regarding compatibility:
This extension has been tested in a standard installation of the Shopware 6 Community Edition. Unfortunately, we cannot always guarantee a full compatibility with other extensions or themes. Please make sure to test the extension before buying, you can use the trial month of the rental version for that.

Das Plugin ist eine wirkliche Erleichterung in der Darstellung für die Kunden.
Nach zwischenzeitlichen Problemen, wurde mir auch sehr schnell geholfen.

Top Service und Einzigartiges Plugin

Das Varianten Plugin ist unter den Variante Plugins einzigartig und liefert einem für alle Probleme, die man ansonsten mit Varianten hat, Lösungen. Sobald eine Variante ausverkauft ist, kann man diese ausblenden oder ausgrauen und es wird automatisch eine andere Variante vorgewählt. Dies kann so kein anderes Plugin.
Zudem funktioniert das Plugin einwandfrei mit ThemeWare und die Artikel werden tatsächlich erst ausgegraut, wenn alle Varianten ausverkauft sind. Somit kann man sich andere, umständliche Lösungen über Gesamtbestand für den Vaterartikel etc. sparen.

Zudem ist der Kundenservice, um es einfach zu sagen, mehr als perfekt. Sehr freundlich, schnell und kompetent. Hier könnt Ihr definitiv nichts falsch machen.

Kleiner Tip am Rande, solltet Ihr die Variantenauswahl nicht oder falsch angezeigt bekommen, deaktiviert das FroshDevelopmentHelper Plugin.

Das Plugin hält, was es verspricht. Meiner Meinung nach ein absolutes Muss für Shops mit Varianten. Auch der Bild-Wechsel direkt im Listing ist gut umgesetzt und schafft aus meiner Sicht einen Mehrwert für den Nutzer. Der Support hat innerhalb kurzer Zeit geantwortet und nimmt Anregungen gerne entgegen.

The plugin can be installed via the Shopware-Store or Plugin-Manager under "Extensions > My Extensions".

If you want to display non-deliverable variants, the Shopware setting 'Shop > Products > Show products after clearance sale' must also be active, otherwise it is not possible to switch to a unavailable variant if the quick buy option is active (Update: With Shopware Versions 6.6+ the setting "Show products after clearance sale" doesn't need to be active anymore).

Base settings

The base settings of the plugin can be found in the plugin manager (Plugin list > Variants in listing > three points > Configuration).

Here you have the option of defining the displayed properties across shops or activating the quick purchase function shop-wide.

If you only want to activate the plugin in certain categories, set the "Display mode" option to "Display nothing" and continue with the next point.

Adjusting the settings in shopping experience layouts and / or categories

Optionally, further settings can be made at the level of the shopping experience elements (see screenshot 7).

For example, if you only want the quick purchase function to be active in a certain category, create a new category layout and activate the function via the element settings.

Adjusting displayed properties for a single product

You can also adjust the properties shown in the listing individually depending on the product.

To do this, you can use the setting under "Catalogues > Products > (Product name) > Variants > Storefront presentation > Product listings" (see screenshot 3-4).

Display types of properties and maximum number of options in the listing

By default, all properties are shown as in the product detail.

You can change the display type in the listing for individual properties and display them, for example, as a list or drop-down menu.

To do this, you can use the settings under "Catalogues > Properties > (Name of the property) > Listing display options" (see screenshot 5-6).

You can also change the maximum number of displayed options in this section (default: 3).

Preselection

The settings "Preselect first variant by default ", "Avoid sold out variants as preselection" require the following settings in the product (under "Edit product > Variants > Storefront display > Product list"):

- Main product display must be inactive

- "Expand property values in product listings" must be inactive

Quick buy function and displaying variants in the popup

With the quick buy function, the variant selection can be made directly in the category listing and the product can be placed in the shopping cart.

If all properties are already displayed in the listing (“All properties” display mode), the product is placed directly in the shopping cart when you click on the shopping cart button.

Otherwise, if display mode "Show nothing, Show only the first property, [...]" is active, when you click on the shopping cart button, a popup will be displayed in which the variant selection can be made.
