About the Facebook Chat
With the Facebook Chat plugin (formerly known as Facebook Customer Chat plugin) of the Facebook Messenger platform, you can integrate your Messenger experience directly into your website. This allows customers to communicate with your business at any time through the same personalized and engaging experiences they are used to with Messenger.
With our plugin you can easily and quickly integrate the Facebook Chat into your shop. There is only one requirement: a Facebook fan page with administrative access.

Steps in the Shopware Administration
- Install plugin
- Use https://findmyfbid.com to determine the Facebook page ID of your Facebook fan page and enter it into the configuration
- Customize and save configuration as you wish
- Activate plugin
Steps on Facebook
- Go to the “Settings” section of your Facebook fan page
- Go to the “Messenger platform” sub-item
- Scroll to the “Approved Domains” section
- Enter all domains of your shops, where you want the chat plugin to appear, into the field
- “Save” your settings
If all steps have been completed completely and correctly, the next page view of your shop will show the Customer Chat.
