About the Extension

With TaxRules, you extend the Shopware Rule Builder with an action that triggers individual tax rates. Whether dropshipping, intra-Community supply, or special product groups—every special case can be mapped with just a few clicks.


What you can control with rules

  • Use conditions from the Rule Builder (e.g., delivery country, customer group, payment/shipping method, B2B/B2C, cart contents).

  • Define your own tax rates per rule and apply them by category.

  • Special cases such as dropshipping scenarios, intra-Community supplies, or specific product segments with differing taxation.


As soon as an order meets the conditions you define, the app automatically sets the desired tax rate in the customer's checkout—in real time and fully transparent.
