Our plugin "Phone number as mandatory field depending on shipping method" gives you the opportunity to show a mandatory field for querying the phone number of a customer depending on the selected shipping method.

For some shipping service providers, forwarding companies and suppliers, it is necessary to provide a phone number for queries.
As a shop operator, you want to spare your customers the need to enter irrelevant data, which in many cases includes the telephone number. With our Plugin you can do the registration process without the inquiry of the phone number.

The phone number is only queried during the ordering process when your customer select a certain shipping method, for which the telephone number is required.
Our plugin has the following integrated features:

Query of the phone number depending on shipping method
Easy validation of the phone field for the typical input types of German telephone numbers

The installation is done as usual via the plugin manager in the backend of Shopware.

The configuration can also be done here.

Additionally, the build storefront and build administration commands must be executed. Otherwise, the plugin will not work properly.
