About the Extension

With FlexContent you have the freedom to display either HTML content or entire worlds of experiences anywhere in your shop. You can finally display important information in your shopping cart or customer account without any complex programming!

Display HTML content or worlds of experience anywhere

You decide for yourself what type of new content you want to display anywhere. You can insert HTML content or, as usual, edit and display an experience with all possible elements. Any desired content can be displayed anywhere.

Placement at predefined positions or completely freely using a marker in the template

Many output positions are already implemented in FlexContent where content can be output, so that you can place content, for example, when displaying the shopping cart, with shipping information, in the header or footer or with the account information. But that's not all!

Own template markers

The great strength lies in the use of your own template markers, which you can easily store in your theme. This makes it easy for you to display important information in the page header or in the shopping cart and customize your shop.

Easily control output of content with rules

Not all content is always relevant for every visitor to the shop. That's why you can use the Shopware Rule Builder to specify exactly when content is displayed. This means you can define the rules individually with regard to the output position or with a view to selected products. For example: Information should only appear on the order completion page if a certain customer group orders something. Or important information should only appear in the header if a specific product is in the shopping cart.

Compatibility

Our extension is generally compatible with all our own extensions, provided that the respective functionalities do not conflict with each other.
For third-party extensions, including Shopware’s premium extensions, we cannot guarantee unrestricted compatibility. Should any issues arise in this context, our support team will be happy to assist you.
Naturally, when new Shopware versions are released, we ensure that our extension is made compatible with them in a timely manner.
Please note that our statements refer to the Shopware Community Edition with the standard responsive theme.

To process your request as quickly as possible, please ensure that:

• The latest version of our extension, compatible with your Shopware version, is installed
• You have a valid rental or subscription license
• The issue also occurs in the Shopware standard theme and with all third-party extensions deactivated
• No changes have been made by you or third parties to the plugin code
• You have studied the manual in advance, as it already contains many helpful pieces of information

In most cases, it is necessary for us to have unrestricted access to your shop’s administration in order to analyze and fix the problem. Additionally, it may be required for you to provide us with FTP or ideally SSH credentials for your server. Please note that setting up and later removing these accesses is your responsibility.

For a smooth troubleshooting process, we recommend conducting support in a staging or development environment. This allows issues to be reproduced under controlled conditions without affecting your live shop.
