Show your own content in the shop – even where standard Shopware does not allow it
Do you want to display extra information on the product detail page, create a freely editable header area, or run a Shopping Experience inside another one? Standard Shopware often has no built-in way for this – you would need custom development, or the content cannot be placed. FlexContent changes that: you output HTML, entire Shopping Experiences, or your own Twig templates at almost any shop position, controlled by rules and fully managed in the Administration.
Practical example: warranty and guarantee labels from 27 September 2026
From 27 September 2026, online merchants in B2C must make statutory warranty and guarantee labels visible to consumers. Whether warranty label or guarantee label: the marking must appear clearly and prominently before the order is placed – either on the respective product detail page or in a central place in the checkout. Hiding them behind links, mouseover effects or expandable tabs is not enough.
With FlexContent you can output such required information easily: add the warranty label or guarantee label as an HTML graphic, Shopping Experience element or template and place it on the product detail page – or centrally in the cart and checkout. That gives highlighted placement without theme workarounds. With the Rule Builder you control products, categories or customer groups – for example only physical goods or end customers.
More than 100 ready-made positions, or completely free via marker
FlexContent ships with more than 100 output positions: in the cart, shipping info, header, footer, customer account and many more. You pick the position and drop in your content. Need more freedom? Place your own template markers in your theme exactly where you need content.
Three content types, your choice
What you display is entirely up to you:
- HTML for quick content blocks – ideal for statutory label graphics as well
- Shopping Experience with all the usual Shopware elements – also inside other Shopping Experiences
- Template as a path to your own Twig template for reusable building blocks
That covers promotional notices, legal mandatory labels and complex content areas.
Control your content with rules
Not every piece of content is relevant for every visitor. With the Shopware Rule Builder you define when and for whom something appears. FlexContent adds extra conditions:
- active controller (e.g. account, order completion, product detail)
- active category page
- active product page
- dynamic product group of the active product page
- manufacturer of the active product page
So content only shows for a specific product group – or a checkout notice only for consumers and physical goods.
The FlexContent CMS element with full control
The FlexContent content element does everything the classic configuration does – inside the Shopping Experience. You add HTML, select a Shopping Experience or Template, and set styling plus display rule.

FlexContent is for shop operators and agencies who want content more flexible than the standard allows. Whether marketing notice, legal text, mandatory label or template block: you deliver the right information at the right time to the right place.
Install the plugin, choose your first position – product detail or checkout – or set a template marker and output your first content.

Compatibility
Our extension is generally compatible with all our own extensions, provided that the respective functionalities do not conflict with each other.
For third-party extensions, including Shopware’s premium extensions, we cannot guarantee unrestricted compatibility. Should any issues arise in this context, our support team will be happy to assist you.
Naturally, when new Shopware versions are released, we ensure that our extension is made compatible with them in a timely manner.
Please note that our statements refer to the Shopware Community Edition with the standard responsive theme.

Do you need assistance? Our support team is at your disposal in both German and English.
To process your request as quickly as possible, please ensure that:
- The latest version of our extension, compatible with your Shopware version, is installed
- You have a valid rental or subscription license
- The issue also occurs in the Shopware standard theme and with all third-party extensions deactivated
- No changes have been made by you or third parties to the plugin code
- You have studied the manual in advance, as it already contains many helpful pieces of information
In most cases, it is necessary for us to have unrestricted access to your shop’s administration in order to analyze and fix the problem. Additionally, it may be required for you to provide us with FTP or ideally SSH credentials for your server. Please note that setting up and later removing these accesses is your responsibility.
For a smooth troubleshooting process, we recommend conducting support in a staging or development environment. This allows issues to be reproduced under controlled conditions without affecting your live shop.
