Show your own content in the shop – even where Shopware does not normally allow it
Do you want to display additional CMS content on the product detail page, show a banner for your current promotion in the header, or run a Shopping Experience inside another one? The standard often lacks the tools – so you need custom development, or the content cannot be placed at all. Every small change turns into a developer ticket, and marketing has to wait.
With FlexContent you display CMS content as HTML, entire Shopping Experiences or your own Twig templates at more than 100 positions in your shop, controlled by rules – or place it freely via template marker. You manage everything in the Administration.
Current occasion: warranty and guarantee labels since 27 September 2026
Since 27 September 2026, online merchants in B2C must make statutory warranty and guarantee labels visible to consumers. Whether it is a notice on the statutory warranty or a guarantee label: the marking must appear clearly before the order is placed – highlighted on the respective product detail page or in a central place in the checkout. Links, mouseovers or collapsed tabs are not enough.
With FlexContent you output such mandatory information without theme workarounds. You add the label as an HTML graphic, Shopping Experience or template and place it on the product detail page – or centrally in the cart and checkout. With the Rule Builder you control for which products, categories or customer groups the notice appears, e.g. only for physical goods or only for consumers.
More than 100 ready-made positions, or completely free via marker
FlexContent ships with more than 100 output positions: in the cart, in the shipping information, in header and footer, in the customer account and in many other places of the Storefront. Pick a position, add your content – done. Need more? Place your own template markers in your theme exactly where you need content. Set the marker once, then manage everything in the Admin.
Three content types for every use case
What you display is entirely up to you:
- HTML for quick content blocks – ideal for banners, promotional notices and label graphics
- Shopping Experience with all the usual Shopware elements – also inside other Shopping Experiences
- Template as a path to your own Twig template for reusable building blocks
How you use FlexContent day to day
- A banner for a discount campaign in the header that only appears for a specific customer group
- A shipping notice in the cart that only shows up for certain delivery countries
- Manufacturer information on all product pages of a manufacturer, maintained once
- The warranty label in the checkout, centrally for all affected products
Control your content with rules
With the Shopware Rule Builder you define when and for whom something appears. FlexContent adds extra conditions to the Rule Builder:
- active controller (e.g. account, order completion, product detail)
- active category page
- active product page
- dynamic product group of the active product page
- manufacturer of the active product page
That way, extra information only appears for a specific product group – or a checkout notice only for consumers and physical goods.
The FlexContent CMS element
The FlexContent content element does everything the classic configuration does – directly inside the Shopping Experience. You add HTML, select a Shopping Experience or a template, and set styling plus display rule.
Who benefits from FlexContent
FlexContent is made for shop operators and agencies who need more flexible content control than the standard offers. If you run several shops, you activate the plugin specifically per sales channel. Marketing notice, legal text or template block: the right information, at the right time, in the right place.

Compatibility
Our extension is generally compatible with all our own extensions, provided that the respective functionalities do not conflict with each other.
For third-party extensions, including Shopware’s premium extensions, we cannot guarantee unrestricted compatibility. Should any issues arise in this context, our support team will be happy to assist you.
Naturally, when new Shopware versions are released, we ensure that our extension is made compatible with them in a timely manner.
Please note that our statements refer to the Shopware Community Edition with the standard responsive theme.

Do you need assistance? Our support team is at your disposal in both German and English.
To process your request as quickly as possible, please ensure that:
- The latest version of our extension, compatible with your Shopware version, is installed
- You have a valid rental or subscription license
- The issue also occurs in the Shopware standard theme and with all third-party extensions deactivated
- No changes have been made by you or third parties to the plugin code
- You have studied the manual in advance, as it already contains many helpful pieces of information
In most cases, it is necessary for us to have unrestricted access to your shop’s administration in order to analyze and fix the problem. Additionally, it may be required for you to provide us with FTP or ideally SSH credentials for your server. Please note that setting up and later removing these accesses is your responsibility.
For a smooth troubleshooting process, we recommend conducting support in a staging or development environment. This allows issues to be reproduced under controlled conditions without affecting your live shop.
