Do you want to show a notice in the cart, place a promotion in the customer account, or run a Shopping Experience right inside another Shopping Experience? With standard Shopware, this quickly turns into custom development – or the content never appears at all.
FlexContent gives you the freedom to output HTML content or entire Shopping Experiences at almost any position in your shop. No developer required, managed right in the backend.
More than 100 ready made positions, or completely free via template marker
FlexContent already ships with more than 100 output positions: in the cart, in the header and footer, in the customer account, and many more. You simply pick the right position and drop in your content.
Your own template markers for maximum flexibility
Not enough for you? Place your own template markers in your theme – exactly where you need content. This lets you customise your shop precisely, without being limited to predefined positions.
HTML or Shopping Experience: you decide
Whether a simple HTML block or a full Shopping Experience with all the usual elements: what you display is entirely up to you. You edit Shopping Experiences as always in the Shopware editor and show them wherever they should take effect – even inside other Shopping Experiences.
Control your content with rules
Not every piece of content is relevant for every visitor. With the Shopware Rule Builder you define exactly when and for whom something appears. To make this even easier, FlexContent adds extra conditions to the Rule Builder:
- active controller (e.g. account, order completion, product detail)
- active category page
- active product page
- dynamic product group of the active product page
- manufacturer of the active product page
This way a notice in the header only shows when a specific product is in the cart – or a message on the order completion page appears only for a certain customer group.
New: the FlexContent CMS element with full control
The FlexContent content element can now do everything the classic configuration does – right inside the Shopping Experience. You add HTML or select a Shopping Experience, define your styling, and set a display rule without leaving the Shopping Experience. That lets you build nested, rule driven content in a single place.

Compatibility
Our extension is generally compatible with all our own extensions, provided that the respective functionalities do not conflict with each other.
For third-party extensions, including Shopware’s premium extensions, we cannot guarantee unrestricted compatibility. Should any issues arise in this context, our support team will be happy to assist you.
Naturally, when new Shopware versions are released, we ensure that our extension is made compatible with them in a timely manner.
Please note that our statements refer to the Shopware Community Edition with the standard responsive theme.

Do you need assistance? Our support team is at your disposal in both German and English.
To process your request as quickly as possible, please ensure that:
- The latest version of our extension, compatible with your Shopware version, is installed
- You have a valid rental or subscription license
- The issue also occurs in the Shopware standard theme and with all third-party extensions deactivated
- No changes have been made by you or third parties to the plugin code
- You have studied the manual in advance, as it already contains many helpful pieces of information
In most cases, it is necessary for us to have unrestricted access to your shop’s administration in order to analyze and fix the problem. Additionally, it may be required for you to provide us with FTP or ideally SSH credentials for your server. Please note that setting up and later removing these accesses is your responsibility.
For a smooth troubleshooting process, we recommend conducting support in a staging or development environment. This allows issues to be reproduced under controlled conditions without affecting your live shop.
