About the Extension

Sell bundles without bloating the catalog

Do you want smart product combinations without creating a separate product or countless variants for every package? A plain volume discount is not enough when customers should pick components, skip items or personalize them and understand the price as they go?

With Bundles you create configurable, combinable and discounted packages directly on the product detail page. You define the logic, fixed bundles, selectable components, optional parts or hybrids, and customers configure their package where they buy.

Fixed bundle

A wine tasting package with defined bottles at an attractive total price.

Selection bundle

A bulk pack of cat food where customers freely choose flavors, combined with a volume discount.

Combined bundle

An event bundle with fixed items plus freely selectable snacks and drinks.

Surcharge bundle

A pizza configurator with freely selectable toppings and dynamic price calculation.

Optional components

Not every package has to go into the cart in full. With the set types Fixed optional and Selection optional you decide what is required and what customers may skip. Fixed optional sets use checkboxes. The optional selection also offers a choice such as “No thanks”.

Custom form fields, your bundle becomes a product configurator

With custom form fields you turn every bundle into a flexible product configurator. You create fields and link them to individual products in the set, for gift card messages, topping requests, engravings, nameplates or delivery notes.

You decide whether a field is required, which minimum length applies and how the selection is pre filled.

Note: Custom form fields are available from the Growth in app plan.

Full control in storefront and Administration

You stay in control in the storefront and in the Administration:

• Free positioning of the bundle on the product detail page
• Unavailable components are automatically deactivated as sold out, including correct cache invalidation when stock changes
• Exclusion from promotions and rule conditions keep your discount logic clean
• Alternative product image and description text per set component
• Optional price display in the component selection
• Add all variants of a variant product in one step
• Duplicate sets in the Administration instead of recreating them
• Custom CSS classes and inline styles for bundles, sets and set products

Show by rule, not by default

Using Shopware rules you control whether a bundle, a set or individual set products appear in the current context. Typical cases are specific customer groups, B2B buyers or selected sales channels. If the rule does not match, the component is not offered and the cart is updated on the next calculation.

• Enterprise: unlimited active bundles, including custom form fields

Compatibility

Our extension is generally compatible with all our own extensions, provided that the respective functionalities do not conflict with each other.
For third-party extensions, including Shopware’s premium extensions, we cannot guarantee unrestricted compatibility. Should any issues arise in this context, our support team will be happy to assist you.
Naturally, when new Shopware versions are released, we ensure that our extension is made compatible with them in a timely manner.
Please note that our statements refer to the Shopware Community Edition with the standard responsive theme.

To process your request as quickly as possible, please ensure that:

• The latest version of our extension, compatible with your Shopware version, is installed
• You have a valid rental or subscription license
• The issue also occurs in the Shopware standard theme and with all third-party extensions deactivated
• No changes have been made by you or third parties to the plugin code
• You have studied the manual in advance, as it already contains many helpful pieces of information

In most cases, it is necessary for us to have unrestricted access to your shop’s administration in order to analyze and fix the problem. Additionally, it may be required for you to provide us with FTP or ideally SSH credentials for your server. Please note that setting up and later removing these accesses is your responsibility.

For a smooth troubleshooting process, we recommend conducting support in a staging or development environment. This allows issues to be reproduced under controlled conditions without affecting your live shop.
