About the Extension
Advanced Filter brings powerful filtering to both sides of your shop. In the storefront it replaces the standard Shopware filters with a fast, fully configurable filter panel: designed in a visual editor with live preview, styled with skins, ready for SEO and measured with built-in insights. In the administration it replaces guesswork filtering with a single, powerful condition bar above nine listings. Features marked (SW 6.7+) are available only in the version for Shopware 6.7; features marked (SW 6.6+) work in Shopware 6.6 and 6.7.
A Filter Panel That Fits Your Shop (SW 6.7+)
Switch the panel on per sales channel — it takes over the filters on category listings, search results, Shopping Experiences listings and the plugin’s own landing pages. Choose the layout per device: a sidebar column, a bar of pills above the listing, a drawer, or a bottom or side sheet on phones, optionally sticky. Each filter group gets its own display: checkbox list, radio, tiles, colour swatches, pills, dropdown, price slider with histogram, switch, star rating, category tree or fly-out menu — in place or in a popover, in 1–6 columns.
Filters That Help Customers Decide (SW 6.7+)
Counts per value, AND or OR per group, values without products dimmed or hidden, search inside long value lists, “show more” or scroll loading, selected values first and a custom value order. Apply changes at once, after a short pause, or with a “Show N products” button. Active filters appear as chips with undo for “Clear all”, and when nothing matches, hints like “Without Red you will find 12 products” lead customers out of the dead end.
Fast on Large Catalogues (SW 6.7+)
Products and counts update together, quickly and without flicker, even on large catalogues. The plugin works with MySQL and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, and the Performance screen shows how fast each filter set responds in your shop.
Filter by Anything (SW 6.7+)
Manufacturer, properties, variant options, tags, price, rating, free shipping, availability, on sale, new, custom fields (as values, switch, range or dates), weight and dimensions, categories and a search within results. Values can get aliases, URL names, pins and value groups (e.g. all shades of blue as “Blue”); ranges can get presets and units. A values check finds duplicates that differ only in case or accents and values without URL names.
Visual Builder With Live Preview (SW 6.7+)
Design the panel on the real shop page: pick the sales channel, category or search phrase and the visitor (guest, customer group or rule), then change groups, displays and layout and see the result immediately. Save drafts, publish when ready and restore any earlier version. Filter sets are assigned to categories (with subcategories), search results or landing pages, by sales channel, rule, date window and priority. A default set covers everything else, and shop defaults are inherited by every set. Sets and defaults can be exported and imported as JSON.
Skins (SW 6.7+)
Six built-in skins (Cards, Compact, Dark, High contrast, Minimal, Pills) and a skin editor with live preview for colours, typography, sizes, radii, swatches, chips, buttons, slider, loaders and motion. Before publishing, a WCAG 2.2 AA contrast check runs. One skin per sales channel; works with any theme that keeps the standard filter panel template.
SEO for Filtered Pages (SW 6.7+)
Filter addresses as Shopware IDs, readable parameters (?color=red_navy&price=100-300) or a readable path, with 301 redirects from older formats and limits on values per address. Filtered category pages get noindex, follow with a self canonical, and a combination without products answers 404. Turn popular combinations into landing pages with their own SEO URL, H1, image, text above and below the list, meta data, robots and sitemap entries with hreflang. An SEO check reports empty and thin pages, duplicate filters, address collisions and missing meta descriptions.
Insights (SW 6.7+)
Anonymous usage statistics (no personal data, no cookies): how often filters are used per listing view, which groups and values customers pick, on phones and desktops, and which combinations find nothing — with one click to turn such a combination into a landing page, and CSV export.
Advanced Admin Filter (SW 6.6+)
A single, powerful condition bar above the product, order, customer, manufacturer, newsletter recipient, dynamic product group, promotion, property and review listings. Type into one field and build precise conditions token by token — field, operator, value — with dedicated inline pickers for every data type. Everything cooperates with Shopware’s native list filters: conditions are stored through the standard filter mechanism, appear in the sidebar panel, survive reloads and are shareable via URL.
Any Field, Any Relation (SW 6.6+)
The field list is built live from the entity definitions: every scalar field is filterable, and relations drill down recursively — pick Customer › Customer group on the order list or Delivery time › Name on the product list. A Search entry inside every relation lets you pick concrete related records, with thumbnails for media, two-stage selection for properties and infinite scrolling for large lists. Is, is not, is one of, is not one of, contains, at least, at most, between, is set, is not set — operators are matched to the field type, text values suggest existing values while you type, and a has duplicates condition finds products sharing the same EAN at any catalog size.
Groups, Defaults, Favourites (SW 6.6+)
Drag one condition onto another to form a group — collapse it to a single pill, expand it, name it. Named groups are saved per user and listed in the bar’s dropdown, ready to be re-applied any time, replacing or adding to the current filters; admins can publish global groups for the whole team. Save the current conditions as your default filters — they apply before the very first request whenever you open the listing, with global defaults for users without personal ones. Favourite searches, favourite fields and recent searches keep frequent work one click away, and date presets like 14 days ago are stored relatively, so a saved filter keeps meaning the last 14 days.
Product List Extras (SW 6.6+)
A Show variants switch (remembered per user) lists variants with inherited fields, a subtle indicator marks variant rows, and a Parent condition finds all variants of a chosen product. Build several conditions and apply them together with Enter, or switch to live mode where every completed condition applies immediately.

Insights and system (SW 6.7+)
Insights shows filter usage, values and combinations without results; statistics can be switched off per set. Under System you find performance measurement, storefront and value-list settings, data retention, background tasks, issues, version history and compatibility information. Access is controlled by the Filters (P2Lab) permissions.
Admin filter (SW 6.6+)
The filter bar appears directly above the product, order, customer, manufacturer, newsletter recipient, dynamic product group, promotion, property and review listings. Its options are under Settings → Extensions → Filter Bar (Shopware 6.6) or Catalogues → Filters → System → Admin filter (Shopware 6.7).
- Click the empty bar — the field list opens; type to filter it, drill into relations, or pick a favourite field from the top
- Choose an operator (or enable “skip the condition step” in the options to jump straight to values)
- Pick or type the value — entity lists, option lists, tag input, calendars with presets or plain text with autocomplete
- Press Enter or the search button to apply everything you collected — or switch to live mode in the options
- Create a group: drag one condition onto another, or right-click a condition and choose Convert to my group / Convert to global group
- Name it: right-click the group and choose Name group — named groups are listed in the dropdown’s Groups section
- Apply mode: the icon next to the group’s heart toggles between replacing the current filters and adding to them
- Defaults: open the dropdown (history icon) and choose Save current conditions as default; admins can also save shop-wide defaults
- Favourites: the heart on dropdown entries and groups pins them as favourite searches; hearts in the field list pin favourite fields
- Product list: the Show variants switch next to the search button lists variants with inherited fields; for EAN the extra operator has duplicates finds products sharing the same code
