About the Extension

The alternative to the Shopware mobile menu - Our “better mobile menu” offers a faster and more intuitive navigation on touch devices as well as a top modern off-canvas navigation on desktop. This means that the mobile navigation can also be used on the desktop. As a further option, our menu offers a classic drop-down menu for desktop (Superfish).

New: Make it Sticky - the main menu on desktop can be made sticky with one click.

Our alternative mobile menu replaces the standard Shopware mobile menu. Navigating through many categories in the standard configuration is quite unwieldy and often misleading due to “diving” into the categories. You lose the overview, no longer know where you are and navigation is slow and not very intuitive! Our menu offers a simple, clear and immediately understandable alternative, it always shows all main categories and the category you are in unfolded and thus allows a much better overview of where you are, how to navigate further and how to get back. The menu is based on CSS, works without Ajax and is therefore slim, fast and compatible.

Das Menü ist wirklich besser als der Shopware-Standard. Wir nutzen in unserem Shop nicht nur das Mobile-Menü, sondern auch das "klassische" Dropdown Menü für Desktop - es ist einfacher und schneller zu erfassen und passt für uns perfekt. Volle Empfehlung!

Lädt blitzschnell (und ohne Ajax), die Kategoriedarstellung ist übersichtlich, die eher konventionelle Präsentation der Untermenüs durch simples Ausklappen dürfte (im Gegensatz zum SW-Original) beim Kunden keine Orientierungsprobleme verursachen, und mit ein paar Header-Anpassungen im Child-Template lässt es sich nicht nur mobil, sondern auch bei Desktop-Darstellung hervorragend einsetzen, wenn man kein Side-Menü verwendet.
Unbedingt empfehlenswert!
