PayPal Checkout

PayPal's latest, all-in-one checkout solution. Securely accept PayPal Digital Payments, credit/debit cards and local payment methods. It also lets you offer Venmo (US only), Pay Later options and more — all designed to help you maximize conversion.

Payment upon Invoice (Germany):

To be able to continue offering your customers payment upon invoice, you can switch to the new PayPal Checkout in just a few steps. Your customers will only pay after 30 days, but you will paid up front. Your customers don't even need a PayPal account* for this.

PayPal Express Button

With PayPal Express Button, you can make the payment method for your customers faster, more convenient, and smoother: Your customers can get to the PayPal payment page with just one click. In addition, you can shorten the payment process with the PayPal Express button to get directly from the product view to pay with PayPal without detours. Hello,

at the moment *Sofort* is still shown in my payment list.
But its not working cause paypal stoped it.

But i dont find it anywhere to get it offline ?
Can you tell me the place to get it offline ?

Hi Klaus,

As you may know, payment methods cannot be deleted once they have been used in an order. Therefore, *Sofort* will only be disabled with plugin version 9.2.0 (or 8.2.0 for Shopware 6.5.x). This means that it will still be displayed in the payment method list in the administration.

If you are on an older version and don't want to update, you can disable the *Sofort* method or remove it from your sales channel like any other payment method.

If you have upgraded and still see *Sofort* in your storefront, please let us know on https://issues.shopware.com.

Nach dem Update funktioniert das Plugin mit meinem Theme nicht mehr, es zerschießt mir den ganzen Shop, alle anderen Plugins krigen es auch geregelt, nur das Paypal Plugin mal wieder ein Fall für sich. Auf so ein Zahlungsanbieter kann ich verzichten. Und vom fehlenden Support will ich garnicht erst anfangen.

Hallo Amien, es tut uns Leid, dass das Plugin nicht wie gewünscht bei dir funktioniert. Können wir dir hier irgendwie helfen? Generell sollte das Plugin nicht Themes zerstören, wir fügen eigentlich nur an einzelnen Punkten die Buttons, Banner etc. hinzu.

Tut was es soll, aber furchtbar umgesetzt

In Google Page Speed fällt jeder Shop mit diesem Plugin negativ auf, vor allem, wenn man die Scripte auf den Detailseiten und Listen einbindet. Laut Google wird hier eine veraltete API verwendet. Wirklich schade, dass so eine Kern-Funktion vom Shopware-Team so stiefmütterlich behandelt wird.

Dadurch, dass Ratenzahlung über iframe angebunden ist, kann man die schriftfarbe nicht über css anpassen. auf dunklem hintergrund daher unbrauchbar.

Zettle Synchronisation nicht möglich und "Einstellungen" werden nicht angezeigt. Bitte fixen.

Unzuverlässig und Fehleranfällig. Aktuell kein Update möglich

In der Vergangenheit schon oft Probleme mit gehabt und bei jedem Update gezittert ob es funktioniert.
Ohne vorheriges Backup nicht einmal dran zu denken es einfach zu aktualisieren.

Aktuell ist ein Update gänzlich unmöglich.

Fehlermeldung bei Update auf Version 8.0.2:

The service "Swag\PayPal\Webhook\WebhookController"
has a dependency on a non-existent service
"Swag\PayPal\Util\Logger".
Did you mean this: "Swag\PayPal\Pos\Run\Logger"?

Hallo,
wir haben diese Probleme in Supportfällen gesehen in Kombination mit einem Plugin `BucsItAboCommerce`, welches inkompatibel mit den PayPal-Versionen 8 und 9 ist. Könnte dies auch in Ihrem System der Fall sein?

Nach dem Update wird die Bestellung nicht mehr abgeschlossen! Diese ist auch bei der Zahlart Vorkasse der Fall.

Shop komplett nicht erreichbar. Habe es per SSH deaktiviert jetzt läuft der Shop wieder aber eben ohne PayPal. Sehr schlecht. Die Sterne nur weil es sonst super funktioniert.

Hallo Waldemar, es tut uns Leid, dass Du so schlechte Erfahrungen musstest. Wir haben das dahinterliegende Problem gefunden und aktualisierte Versionen (7.4.1 bzw. 8.0.1) released. Damit sollte das Problem behoben sein.
