About the Extension

With the extension “Auto Translation Pro Bulk”, you extend your existing Auto Translation Pro with a powerful bulk translation feature, ideal for large shops with many products and variants.

Instead of triggering each translation manually, you can start the translation of all your shop’s content automatically with a single click. This saves you valuable time and gives you full control over your internationalization process.

What gets translated?

Products
Product variants (can be switched on optionally)
All translatable fields supported by Auto Translation Pro

Include variants when you need them

By default, bulk translation only covers main products. With the option “Include variants” you add the variants. A counter shows you in advance how many variants are included, so you keep the effort and the costs of your translation service under control.

Cancel a bulk translation at any time

You can cancel every running job in the job overview with one click. All pending translations are discarded, and entries that have already been translated are kept. Afterwards you can restart the same area right away.

Automatic translation on save

In the tab “Automatic translation”, you enable automatic translation directly when saving a product, with no manual translation run required. You choose:

the target languages (only from your configured languages)
the affected areas (products, cross-selling)
optionally “translate empty fields only”, so existing translations aren't overwritten

The feature is disabled by default after installation or update and must be actively enabled.

Console and cronjob

You can also start bulk translation from the console and automate it with a cronjob. Running jobs can be cancelled from the console as well.

Your benefit

You decide whether already translated fields should be translated again or ignored. This gives you maximum flexibility, for example if you want to process only new or revised content.

You can also choose between two proven translation services:

DeepL: known for high text quality
Google Translate: particularly large language selection

Bulk processing runs automatically in the background. You don’t have to worry about anything.

Important requirements

This extension is an add-on for the main extension Auto Translation Pro and requires it. You can find all extensions of the series on our Auto Translation Pro page.
