Getting started

Create a Buckaroo account at buckaroo.eu/create-account.
Install the Buckaroo Payments extension from the Shopware Store, or upload the ZIP from our GitHub repository.
Activate the extension under Extensions > My Extensions.
Enter your Store Key, Secret Key and Merchant ID (GUID) in the extension configuration, then enable the payment methods you want to offer.

1.0 Installation

Below you'll find the installation instructions for the Buckaroo Shopware 6 plugin.
You can download the plugin from the official Shopware Store (1.1) or from our GitHub repository (1.2).
We recommend following the quick installation guide, as it is the simplest and most efficient way to install the plugin.

1.1 Quick installation

Navigate to our Shopware 6 plugin download page in the official Shopware Store.
Download and install the Buckaroo plugin in your Shopware backend.

1.2 Manual installation (.ZIP)

Navigate to our Shopware 6 GitHub repository.
Go to Releases and download the latest release.
Sign in to your Shopware 6 backend.
In the left main menu, go to Extensions → My Extensions.
Click the Upload extension button.
Read the warning message and confirm to proceed.
Select the .ZIP file of the latest release that you downloaded in step 2.
The Buckaroo plugin will now install automatically.
After installation, check whether the plugin is activated under Extensions → My Extensions.
If the slider is toggled to blue, the plugin is activated.

2.0 Configuration

A Buckaroo account is required to perform test or live transactions with the Buckaroo Shopware 6 plugin.
Below you can find the configuration steps:

Sign in to your Shopware 6 backend.
Go to Extensions → My Extensions in the left main menu.
Make sure you are on the Apps submenu.
In the list of installed Extensions, find the Buckaroo extension and make sure it is active.
Behind the Buckaroo plugin, click the … (more) button and select Configuration.
In the main configuration of the Buckaroo extension, fill in the required fields: Store key, Secret key and GUID.

Store key
The store key can be found in the Buckaroo Plaza at → Settings →API Keys.
Using the filter button at the top right, you can switch between multiple websites (if applicable).
Select the website to be linked. Then, in the General tab, you will find the key.

Secret key
The secret key can be found and configured in the Buckaroo Plaza at → Settings → Security → API Keys.

Merchant ID (also known as GUID)
The GUID can be retrieved in the Buckaroo Plaza.
In the left main menu go to → My Buckaroo → General.
Here you'll see the GUID displayed, which is a long code containing letters and numbers.

After filling in the Store key, Secret key and Merchant ID/GUID, you can enable or disable payment methods and configure them in test or live mode.
In the same main plugin fields, you will also see all payment methods you can configure for test or live transactions.
Please note: To perform test transactions, make sure test functionality is enabled in your Buckaroo account.
For additional configuration options per payment method, go to → Configuration → Payment methods.
Here you can enable or disable payment methods so they are visible in the checkout.
