About the Extension

Shopware dpd Plugin

This Shopware dpd plugin enables the connection of the Shopware 6 store with the DPD Cloud (myDPD). The individual contractual conditions between the store operator and DPD are used. There are no additional costs, through intermediary providers.

The label creation is done automatically according to the selected shipping method and number of parcels. The current status of each shipped package can be viewed under the order details.

Super Plugin für den Versand mit DPD

Wir haben lange darauf gewartet. Mit diesem Plugin kann man per Knopfdruck Versandlabels für DPD erstellen. Voraussetzung ist natürlich ein DPD Account. Von diesem werden die Sendungsnummer übertragen. Die Adressen zieht das Plugin direkt aus den Bestellungen. Nach der Abholung der Pakete durch DPD werden automatisch Versand-Emails mit Trackinginformationen an die Kunden versendet. Es spart uns viel Zeit. Sehr empfehlenswert!

What to do in case of "You do not have the right to access the tracking service, please contact IT Support"?

Please contact dpd support (phone: +49 (0) 911 955 25 25, e-mail: business@dpd.de) and have the necessary rights activated. dpd does not activate you for all functions across the board.

Where can I find the shipment number?

The shipment numbers (incl. the links to the shipment tracking) are displayed above the shipping labels as soon as the shipment has been entered in the dpd system and goes into shipping. Should you have activated the "Scheduled Tasks", in the plugin settings, the shipping status of the order will also be changed at this time and an email with the shipment tracking will be sent to the customer.

When does the customer receive the tracking email?

Prerequisite for this functionality is the activation of the "Scheduled tasks" in the plugin settings. The email with the tracking information will be sent automatically as soon as the shipment has been registered in the dpd system (packages have been scanned). At this time, the status of the order is adjusted in parallel.

Why don't I see any of my shows on myDPD?

The access of the myDPD portal to the dpd network is done through a separate interface and there is no connection to the data transmitted through the interface we use. According to dpd, there is no possibility to change this.

How can several shipping labels be printed in parallel?

Several shipments/orders can be processed together via the "DPD shipments" area (under the main navigation point "Orders").

Is it possible to create multiple shipping labels per order?

Yes, this is of course possible. The number of shipping labels corresponds to the number of parcels that can be set when creating the label (Order > dpd shipping). Important: It is not possible to extend an existing shipping label (e.g. add more labels). Accordingly, a completely new label is created when the number of parcels is changed.
